Hello! My name is Violet, and I have 8 years of childcare experience. I have been a nanny exclusively for about 4 years and have cared for kids of all ages, although my "specialty" is with younger ones! I love caring for infants, as I am currently working as a Postnatal Care Specialist, where I take care of newborns and freshly postpartum families. I have future goals of becoming an ultrasound technician. I show up every day with an open mind, empathy, patience, and a smile. I love to connect with everyone in the family. I also know a lot of baby sign because I am learning ASL, which can really help those younger ones greatly with their language skills!

Violet is an absolute joy! My kids love her and are always excited to her. She is VERY punctual, well-spoken and kind. She asks questions when she is unsure and respects all of our wishes. We could not recommend her more!

I’ve been babysitting for many years now, and I have a lot of experience with all ages. I get along great with kids and their parents, and my schedule is extremely flexible! I manage my time very well, and I respect the parents time as well so I would never be late. I am also a very clean person and was raised to clean up after myself, so I will make sure your house is in good condition as well!

Hi, I am a experienced, reliable private nanny currently seeking a part-time position within 15 miles of Walnut Creek/Pleasant Hill/Lafayette area. As a mom of three and a proud grandma, caring for children truly comes naturally to me. I have over 35 years of experience caring for children of all ages, including 12 years supporting children with special needs. I'm warm, patient and engaging, and I love being a part of a child's daily life whether that's reading, spending time outdoors, or supporting routines that help them feel secure and confident. I have excellent references, a drivers licence and I can assist in light household tasks, meal prep, errands, children's laundry and helping keep daily routines running smoothly for busy families. My rate is $32-$40 an hour depending on the job and responsibilities. I prefer a private pay arrangement and I'm open to discussing guaranteed hours for the right family.

Hello! A little about me - My name is Joanna, I’m currently a part time student at DVC. I’m CPR certified and I have a BLS. I have experience with children with disabilities. Since the age of 17 I have worked with children on the side as a nanny. I’m now 25 and between those years I’ve worked with many different families. I used to be a certified nursing assistant but decided to do something I really enjoyed which was working with children. That is when I became a 1:1 aid at a school. I enjoy working with children the most because they’re always such happy souls. Im very loving and caring for others and I tend to be silly a lot when I’m around kids. Working at the school is part-time with little hours which is why I’d love to continue being a nanny for the right family. I like to be punctual and attentive. I’m a very fast learner. I like to make arts and crafts, play board games, read, and enjoy nature. I’m able to help with homework and light house duties if needed. Your children are guaranteed to be in good hands with me! :)

Wendy worked full time for my family for 1 month this fall while we were in need of extra help. She is a lovely person who was eager to do a good job & was flexible to my family’s needs. Her responsibilities were: playing & watching my 3.5 year old son, feeding/burping my 4 month old daughter, changing diapers, stroller walks, washing bottles, preparing small children’s meals for my son, cleaning up toys, organizing toys, washing drying folding and putting away laundry, bathing & doing the nighttime routine for my son. Some of her strengths include: sweet & easygoing, trustworthy, energy to run around with toddler, flexible schedule, eager to do whatever is needed to make your life easier (offered to return packages for me & drive me places if needed). She has her drivers license & has a lot of experience driving + was willing to keep a car seat in her car for our son. Any family would be lucky to have her!

Hello, my name is Nahdiri Polk. I am a 25-year-old aspiring healthcare professional currently completing my education as a Surgical Technician, with plans to continue on to earn my BSN and become a neonatal nurse. I have a genuine love for caring for infants and young children, which is what led me to pursue both childcare and healthcare. I began working with children in high school at a daycare on University Street, where I gained hands-on experience caring for infants and supporting their daily routines. I later worked at another daycare in Oakland for several years, where I continued to build strong skills in patience, attentiveness, and creating a safe, nurturing environment for children. I am especially passionate about working with infants and take pride in being gentle, dependable, and responsive to each child’s individual needs. My goal is always to make children feel safe, comfortable, and cared for, while also supporting parents by being reliable and trustworthy. I am CPR certified and prioritize safety at all times, giving parents peace of mind that their child is in capable hands. I also have my own car and can provide dependable transportation. I would love the opportunity to support your family and care for your child with the same level of attention and compassion that I bring to my future career in neonatal nursing.

I am bilingual and have taught and helped out several children I have taken care of with Spanish. I am CPR certified and have plenty of good references. I'm a mother of three so I just love children of all ages, but especially babies.

If I could give Elisa 6 stars, I would! I am so happy she has been part of our family's life for so long. She started watching my daughter and my niece when they were ~7 months old and watched them until they went to daycare around 2.5 (and then she watched my nephew until he went to daycare!). Because we were working from home for much of it, we got to see her "in action". She is kind, patient, communicative, and her genuine love for spending time with kids shines through every interaction. She plays, reads, sings, and talks to the kids constantly - all three kids started talking very well very early and I have no doubt she was part of that!! When she started watching the girls, it was early COVID and she was incredibly conscious and safe. When it started to become ease up a bit, she would take the girls (and later my nephew) on outings every day to various parks, sing alongs, etc, keeping them entertained and engaged. She's also never on her phone and doesnt use screens around the kids. My daughter still asks for her to babysit! I love Elisa and wholeheartedly recommend her - she's a treasure and any family would be lucky to have her!

I was an Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher at a Fortune 100 company in San Francisco on the Embarcadero. I have been teaching for six years and have worked as a babysitter since my early teenage years. I am moving toward working with families on a long-term basis. I enjoy working with children and supporting the development of their learning skills through nurturing care and positive experiences in new environments with new friends. I love being silly and bringing joy through smiles and laughter. I am interested in learning more about this opportunity.

Charnette has been terrific to work with. She has baby sat our son multiple times starting when he was 9mo old (He's 2yo now). She really knows kids at that age and was able to connect with him quickly and overcame any stranger-danger. They clearly had a good time together and things went super smoothly. She is always quick at communicating and getting back to us and absolutely on time. We couldn't be happier.

Hello! I'm a dedicated childcare provider with over 25 years of paid experience, specializing in infant care and children from first grade and up. As a mother to a wonderful 20-year-old daughter, I understand firsthand the trust parents place in caregivers, and now that my own child is grown, I'm excited to share my passion for nurturing young minds. My previous family trusted me for 16 wonderful years until their children outgrew needing care, which speaks to my reliability and the meaningful relationships I build with families. I'm comfortable with all aspects of infant care including feeding, diaper changes, and sleep routines, and I love engaging elementary-age children with homework help and age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and creativity. I believe in creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel secure and happy while maintaining open communication with parents about their child's day. My extensive experience means I can handle any situation with confidence and calm, and I'm committed to respecting each family's unique parenting style and household rules.
