Last year I was a kindergarten teacher as well for a private school. In the past I have been a director at an elementary school and ran a program with children from kindergarten to eighth grade. Before becoming a kindergarten teacher I was a preschool teacher starting with twos and working my way up to the 3-4 year olds. I was also a nanny for a newborn until the age of 1. As a nanny I did many housekeeping duties such as cleaning floors, dishes, laundry and running errands or going on walks. I have graduated with a degree in early childhood education. In today's world, it is becoming increasingly difficult for parents to find someone whom they can trust with their children. I am happy to be able to offer quality childcare to families, care they can trust. My experience in childcare actually began many years ago, on a very casual, very rare basis. Then, when my younger sister was born, I cared for her several hours a day, while I was also attending school. My duties included bathing, feeding, teaching, training, and playing with her. We read stories and sang songs. She has grown up into a beautiful young lady. Looking back, I am so thankful to have had a part in her healthy development. Recently, I have had the privilege of being entrusted to care for children ranging from newborns to young elementary-school aged children. I always enjoy caring for them and helping them to learn and explore in an educational and safe manner. Caring for children is a very rewarding career! A qualified caregiver must always be prepared.
