My philosophy about our children is that they are precious gifts and they need to be given lots of love, roots and wings. Children need unconditional love and a feeling of security which is the roots; this will enable them to learn self-reliance and independence and a positive self image (wings). They need to be nourished as well as disciplined.
I love children and babies and have been a caregiver for many years. Full time for the last 4 years. Most recently, I cared for a a baby for 2 years until age two when the family moved (this included 2 days/week with another baby.
I believe in helping children (and babies) with language development by talking, singing and reading to them.
My favorite activities to do with children are arts and crafts and music and movement. I also enjoy taking them on excursions, especially to parks and museums. I also love yoga and walking

Robin is a great nanny. We hired her to watch our 8-month-old daughter while our regular nanny was off for the week. Robin jumped right in. She was punctual, responsible, attentive to our style of parenting and most importantly, showed genuine loving care toward our child. We highly recommend Robin. She is a pro!
