My first experience working with kids was when I was lifeguarding & teaching little kids how to swim when I was in highschool. They were so earnest and authentic and just wanted to love and be loved. I bonded with quite a few of the kids at the pool and their parents started using me for babysitting as well. It became full time (over full time) work for me working with kids - either at the pool or at their homes. Since moving to Santa Barbara I have been working at pools as a lifeguard, and kept up my first aid and cpr training, but I miss working directly with kids. I am taking a year off school to save money so am available any time day or night. I can provide references for babysitting as well as lifeguarding. I also am a straight A student at the university and would love to provide tutoring services if a family needs that as well. My specialties are math and writing. I have a driver's license but do not have a car. I have a perfect driving record and have had my license for 3 years. I could run errands or pick up kids as needed.
