Hi! My name is Alyssa, and I’m a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with over a year of hands-on experience in healthcare. I’ve always had a passion for working with children, which began during high school when I worked at a family daycare in Los Angeles. In college, I continued nurturing that passion at Mount Saint Mary’s Child Development Center, where I served as a teacher’s assistant for two years and often led the class. I’ve cared for children of all ages—from infants to 18 years old—and love creating fun, safe, and engaging activities to keep them learning and entertained. I’m not afraid to get a little messy with crafts or imaginative play, and I take pride in building meaningful bonds with every child I work with. While I’m currently taking a step back from full-time nursing to focus on what brings me joy, my background as a nurse allows me to provide a heightened level of care, attention, and safety when it comes to childcare. I’m fully vaccinated (since May 2021) and remain committed to providing a nurturing, healthy environment for your little ones. Pediatrics is my true calling, and I do plan to return to school in the near future to pursue my RN degree. In the meantime, I’d love the opportunity to support families through babysitting and part-time childcare. I look forward to meeting your family and bringing my heart, experience, and nursing skills into your home!

I’m a college student studying health sciences with a genuine love for working with kids and creating a safe, positive environment for them. I have several years of babysitting experience caring for my 8 nieces and nephews, with ages ranging from toddlers to preteens, so I’m comfortable adapting to different personalities, routines, and needs—whether that’s playtime, helping with homework, or keeping things on schedule. I’m CPR and First Aid trained, reliable, patient, and attentive, and I always aim to make both kids and parents feel comfortable, supported, and confident in my care. Some of my hobbies include cooking, baking, playing games, and spending time with animals, so I’m happy to help in homes with pets. I have open availability that can meet your desired needs.

Maritza is part of our family now. We will be using her for as long as she decides to work alongside our family. She was very welcoming in our initial interview and even though we have only just started with her. My wife, Mother in law and sister in law who have meet her all say the same thing, she brings an an energy of positivity and trust.

Hi! My name is Bertha Sanchez, I’m currently a nursing student at Fullerton with ambitions of becoming a RN Pediatric Nurse. I love kids and want to provide better care for kids of all backgrounds with care and understanding. I’m offering child care and light household services while kids are asleep. I love all animals, personally I have 2 cats and 1dog. I love being a babysitter, I’ve been watching babies and toddlers since I was 15! I enjoy activities with kids like coloring, playing outside, reading and singing. With infants I love to put on music, and talking to them is essential for their development as well as plenty of love and attention. I’m always up for a challenge and to try new things! As of now I’m a pharmacy technician and a CNA(certified nursing assistant) although I’m still furthering my nursing career. -Basic Life Support provider certified through the American Heart Association -Hospital Fire and Life Safety certified through SureFire -CPR certified through SureFire

Bertha watched our 6 week old for 3 days, about 6hr each day. She was easy to communicate with. The most responsive person I have worked with. She is thorough and thoughtful. She is clearly very bright and has a great future ahead of her.

Hi! I’m Arlene, although most of the children I care for know me as Leni. What makes my childcare experience a little unique is my background in veterinary nursing, which has given me a strong level of preparedness, medical awareness, and confidence when handling situations that require extra care or attention. I feel that experience has significantly supported my work throughout the past 6 years of part-time childcare. I have experience caring for infants through 12-year-olds, including nanny shares, siblings, and multiples. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish, CPR certified, and background checked. I enjoy keeping children active and engaged through outdoor play, reading, crafts, library visits, educational outings, museums, and activities centered around history and learning. I aim to create a safe, dependable, and nurturing environment where children can have fun, explore, and feel comfortable in my care.

Good communicator, and super friendly to the children. You know they've had a good time when they want to hug their sitter goodbye :)

I am an individual with over eight years of experience in child care and also with older adults with intellectual disabilities. I am currently completing three years of work specifically with adults with intellectual disabilities, where I am dedicated to teaching how to become more independent. For example, I am committed to helping individuals learn how to obtain and maintain a job, complete volunteer hours, improve their educational skills, and maintain good personal presentation. I am also responsible for transporting individuals in my personal vehicle. One of my favorite parts of the job is actively participating in daily activities, like playing with infants, teaching them to speak their first words, or guiding them during mealtime routines. I am certified in CPR and First Aid. I am friendly, reliable, and passionate about building strong connections with both children and adults. I am currently available in the afternoons and on weekends. Communication is very important to me, so please don’t hesitate to reach out to request references or to schedule a call. I am excited to continue sharing my passion and positive attitude with families, something that has brought me years of rewarding experiences.

Nanette is the best sitter we've ever had!! She is the only person outside of my family that I have felt 100% comfortable leaving my daughter with. She always knows what to do and you can tell that she's a great mom, which is very important in my opinion! Nanette also looks after our dog when we're out of town, and every time she comes to pick her up, our dog gets overly excited. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Nanette to anyone!

I have 4 kids but now they are all teenagers. I love kids I wish I had more. ☺️ So since I’ve and have the patience for them I would love to work doing something I enjoy. I also love teaching I wanted to be a teacher one day. I consider myself easy going and fun. I treat kids as if they were my own because they are our future. Love and happiness is what we need in this world.

Karina is one of the most talented care givers we have met! She is kind and attentive, listens well to parents and little kids, and is honest and trustworthy. Our daughter has some special needs, and Karina is absolutely wonderful with her, praising her for what she does, encouraging her, and motivating her. She helps her do gross motor movement like a PT, engage in play like an OT, and reads and interacts like a teacher. She is also very good at cleaning and organizing, and she can make a delicious smoothie, but her joy is in building relationships with kids. Simply put, she’s the best! Give her a chance with your little one(s)—you will be glad you did!

I am a 47 year old mom to a 15 year old wonderful young man. I started taking care of children when I was 13 years old. I love children and want them to have a positive healthy atmosphere and good nutrition. I think structure is important like having a consistent routine for sleep and eating. I feel that music should be on most of the time. I was born in New York to immigrant parents from Greece. I speak Greek fluently and have studied other languages including French and Spanish. I love to cook, bake, go fishing and garden. I have experience with children with special needs and understand the challenges and joys that come from them.

Our family, especially my three children, absolutely adored “Argi.” She introduced all of us to new cultural aspects and ways of life. She taught my children with passion, care, patience, humor, and she’s an amazing cook as well. She put strong emphasis on healthy choices and nutrition in every meal and does it with endless amounts of love and care. She is respectful of other cultures and traditions. She knows how to get my kids to open up and share their concerns with her. For example, my daughter who was going through some tough times with school so Argi would always make it a point to do special little things for her and constantly reminding her how strong and resilient she is, giving her confidence to overcome anything that got in her way. My son who does not like to try new food now discovers that he likes Greek and Mediterranean cuisine. She’s the biggest cheerleader and supporter to all three kids with their sports and always shows up to support them.At times when I find myself at odds with my children lol, Argi becomes the peacemaker middleman trying to help us understand each other’s perspectives. She brings a lifetime of experience rich with diversity, intellect, and human decency. Anyone who is lucky enough to have her in their homes will absolutely value her.

Hello everyone :) . I have ECE units as well as an updated CPR and First aid training card. I have been working with kids for 20 years! My Passion for children took place while I was a teenager in high school. I worked as an intern at a day care in Long Beach and fell in love with teaching and working with kids. Many people call me the baby whisperer lol because everywhere I go, babies cling to me and love me immediately. Right now I work as a case manager at a women’s shelter part time. I love helping others ! My sweet spirit allows not only the kid to love me but the parents also. Some kids take more time but I have the patience to build the trust needed for me and that child to build a great relationship. I’ve worked in a day care setting and baby sat for many parents from the school. I am going to go back to school to get my masters degree in counseling so that I can become a children’s counselor for public schools. I am not a partier, drinker type nor do I use profanity. I dont discriminate & I pray that the same energy to presented to me. I will respect your life and your rules. I LOVE music and I love to dance. Might I also add that i am quite silly lol. Which works great when you’re dealing with toddlers or young ones . There’s so much more I can say but I’ll stop right here . Thank you for taking the time to read this ❤️ I’m open to share my resume !

She is one of the kindest , most compassionate, loving and empathetic person I’ve ever met! She is so trustworthy and people call her the baby whisperer. Her personality is reserved in nature and she is very respectful. I’d recommend anyone to encounter her no matter what race , ethnicity or background. You won’t regret it

Hello, my name is Kuei Mei Chen (I go by Carol Chen). A little about me: I moved here from Taiwan in 1998, and I have five years of experience working as a nanny/caregiver, 3 of which includes experience caring for an infant. I truly enjoy caring for young children. Accompanying them as they grow, watching them from crawling to learning how to walk, to guiding them in discovering the world around them and helping them learn to communicate and speak, I deeply enjoy every part of the process.
