Hi! I’m Arlene, although most of the children I care for know me as Leni. What makes my childcare experience a little unique is my background in veterinary nursing, which has given me a strong level of preparedness, medical awareness, and confidence when handling situations that require extra care or attention. I feel that experience has significantly supported my work throughout the past 6 years of part-time childcare. I have experience caring for infants through 12-year-olds, including nanny shares, siblings, and multiples. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish, CPR certified, and background checked. I enjoy keeping children active and engaged through outdoor play, reading, crafts, library visits, educational outings, museums, and activities centered around history and learning. I aim to create a safe, dependable, and nurturing environment where children can have fun, explore, and feel comfortable in my care.

Good communicator, and super friendly to the children. You know they've had a good time when they want to hug their sitter goodbye :)

Hello I'm Camilla, I am not your average nanny. I am a nurturing musical nanny who prioritizes safety and communication with parents. When it comes to infants, I provide helpful tips for first time parents, from baby proofing to using music from the newborn stage to support comfort, learning, and early development. Research and KTLA News have shown how infants respond to music and its benefits for early brain activity, attention, and engagement. I have seen first hand how, right before my eyes, music promotes early speech and curiosity. Infants often sing or vocalize along with music before they can fully articulate words, helping them connect sounds to language and tasks, even venturing into math. As a responsive and listening nanny, I have great success communicating with toddlers. I anticipate outcomes and help them navigate moments of frustration. As early as nine months, I teach rhythm, movement, rhyming, and how syllables connect in children as young as two. These patterns support early reading skills and encourage critical thinking. With a background in nursing and music, it is incredibly rewarding to see babies recognize my songs, then hear toddlers sing them and become engaged when I read to them. In my spare time I enjoy writing stories and composing songs that support developmental milestones. Music is one of my tools to soothe and stimulate infants while helping toddlers and young children navigate boundaries, new skills, potty training, and challenging moments. I compose songs that meet children's needs, bring enjoyment, and promote self esteem while encouraging them to keep trying. I also apply principles from Music Therapy and Occupational Therapy to support learning and development. Including children's individual interests helps build strong connections and spark curiosity. I am confident providing homework support and engaging children in creative arts activities. I bring a strong work ethic and can be counted on to be reliable and dedicated. I studied Music at UCLA and have a passion for teaching. I promote healthy snacks, stay up to date on vaccinations, and follow hygiene guidelines. I am available full or part time, for date nights, and as a mothers helper. I am comfortable around pets and have plenty of energy to keep up with growing little ones. Thank you for reading.

Camilla is so kind and sweet to our son, who is 3 years old. She has watched him many times now and he’s always happy and learning new things with her. I would definitely recommend her as a caring nanny!

Hi! My name is Bertha Sanchez, I’m currently a nursing student at Fullerton with ambitions of becoming a RN Pediatric Nurse. I love kids and want to provide better care for kids of all backgrounds with care and understanding. I’m offering child care and light household services while kids are asleep. I love all animals, personally I have 2 cats and 1dog. I love being a babysitter, I’ve been watching babies and toddlers since I was 15! I enjoy activities with kids like coloring, playing outside, reading and singing. With infants I love to put on music, and talking to them is essential for their development as well as plenty of love and attention. I’m always up for a challenge and to try new things! As of now I’m a pharmacy technician and a CNA(certified nursing assistant) although I’m still furthering my nursing career. -Basic Life Support provider certified through the American Heart Association -Hospital Fire and Life Safety certified through SureFire -CPR certified through SureFire

Bertha watched our 6 week old for 3 days, about 6hr each day. She was easy to communicate with. The most responsive person I have worked with. She is thorough and thoughtful. She is clearly very bright and has a great future ahead of her.

I have 4 kids but now they are all teenagers. I love kids I wish I had more. ☺️ So since I’ve and have the patience for them I would love to work doing something I enjoy. I also love teaching I wanted to be a teacher one day. I consider myself easy going and fun. I treat kids as if they were my own because they are our future. Love and happiness is what we need in this world.

Karina is one of the most talented care givers we have met! She is kind and attentive, listens well to parents and little kids, and is honest and trustworthy. Our daughter has some special needs, and Karina is absolutely wonderful with her, praising her for what she does, encouraging her, and motivating her. She helps her do gross motor movement like a PT, engage in play like an OT, and reads and interacts like a teacher. She is also very good at cleaning and organizing, and she can make a delicious smoothie, but her joy is in building relationships with kids. Simply put, she’s the best! Give her a chance with your little one(s)—you will be glad you did!

Nanette is the best sitter we've ever had!! She is the only person outside of my family that I have felt 100% comfortable leaving my daughter with. She always knows what to do and you can tell that she's a great mom, which is very important in my opinion! Nanette also looks after our dog when we're out of town, and every time she comes to pick her up, our dog gets overly excited. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Nanette to anyone!

Hi parents, my name is Briahna! In my free time, I enjoy reading, baking, watching movies, and trying new coffee shops. I also love visiting libraries, museums, bookstores, and spending time with my family. I am the oldest of four, with three younger siblings currently ages 9, 12, and 15. I am a full-time student at LBCC, though my fall semester won’t start up until August 31st. I am fluent in English and Spanish and am a beginner at ASL. I currently nanny Monday-Wednesday from 2-8pm for a family with a 7yo and a 9yo, I have been with them since February 2025. I also babysit for a family with a 2mo, 3yo, and 5yo on Fridays from 7am-1pm, I have been with them since July 2024. I have worked with many other families, both long-term and for short term or occasional babysitting, with children ranging in age from 1 to 12 years old. I greatly appreciate the connections I have made while working in the childcare field, and value longevity (when possible). I have assisted in many recreational activities including gymnastics (for toddlers and elementary schoolers), horseback riding lessons, football practice, girl scouts, play rehearsals, and many more! I love playing an active role in the lives of the children I care for, while still respecting and supporting boundaries. I would consider myself, and believe others would agree, to be very calm, patient, and caring. I have a gentler approach and believe discipline is not my place, I will enforce any boundaries or rules established by parents in a gentle manner. I also love animals, and I am very comfortable around them. I have cared for cats and multiple breeds of dogs, all ranging in size. I have done occasional house sitting and dog walking for my current families when they go out of town. I have had multiple background checks, as well as a motor vehicle check run. I am also CPR/First Aid certified through the American Heart Association, and I am fully comfortable sharing copies of all documents/reports. Thank you for your consideration. Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions. I look forward to speaking with you and hope you have a great day!

Did not move forward due to the commute, but I am reviewing to say that she was very easy to communicate with and conscientious of what kind of impact such a commute would have on her and her other nanny families.

I am a joyful sitter who's passionate about caring for and creatively engaging with kids. As a recently graduated Boy Scout, I've lead and taught younger children several useful, practical skills with initiative and responsibility. I am CPR and first-aid certified, trained to prioritize safety and stay calm in any situation. I also have a talent for practical entertainment via storytelling and creating fun, age-appropriate games—meaning your kids won't behind a screen all day. I have looked and cared after younger nieces, nephews, cousins, and children in my family and other's in my neighborhood. I've had the most experience caring for my little sister which I've done for over the past 7 years. I am fluent in Spanish and speak it all the time with family. I've also had professional experience caring for pets and I'm a huge cat and dog person! I bring the same sense of kindness, patience, and fun to every family I work with. So, you can always count on me to show up, and follow through, and bring a positive atmosphere to your home!
