Most of my paid experience is through working at group home/shelters for teens whom are in the process of reuniting with parents. I worked with teen boys and girls in these settings for almost three years. I have been trained by my previous employer to properly assess and deescalate a chaotic situation. I now currently work part-time with children who have intellectual disabilities or have been diagnosed with a specific disorder such as Autism. Additional experience with younger children (ages 2-5) through volunteer experience for 1 year. I am a marriage and family therapy student and have basic as well as in depth knowledge of child development and human behavior. Overall, I enjoy working with kids and families. I am kind and respectful towards everyone and do my best to communicate effectively. Please feel free to contact me if you'd like further information. Thank you.
