As a girls’ Athletic Director at a gymnastics club and consecutive years as a Nanny, it was rewarding to help kids achieve their developmental milestones. I felt inspired to work in a high-profile family in Florida where I role-modeled & worked as a team with the child’s grandparents. I was in full charge of the child and spent many days alone with the child while the grandparents were travelling. Successfully developing a clear structure while consistently setting boundaries created a close and trusted relationship with the family. I strongly believe in consistency and patiently teaching kids that rules are not bendable. Once used to it, kids develop a deep sense of trust.
