Hi! I’m Candace, I’m 26 years old and an experienced nanny with a strong background in infant and newborn care. Growing up as the second oldest of six kids, being around children has always come naturally to me, and it’s what first led me into nannying.I bring over 8 years of childcare experience working with children of all ages, from infants to school-aged kids, including families with multiple children. I currently work as a full-time nanny for a newborn and have spent the past year and a half focused on infant care. I’m very comfortable stepping into a baby’s routine, learning their cues, and providing calm care during those early months. I take on all aspects of infant care and enjoy creating an environment where babies feel secure and supported. I’ve also worked with families with toddlers and school-aged children. I enjoy creating a safe, interactive environment and am comfortable with day-to-day tasks like school drop-offs, activities, and running errands. Alongside my childcare work, I graduated with a degree in cellular and molecular biology and am pursuing a career in medicine with a focus on pediatrics, which shapes the way I approach care. I am CPR certified and always prioritize creating a safe and engaging environment. I will be available for full-time or part-time positions starting April 3, and I look forward to connecting with you.

Candace is very calm and thoughtful. She’s been with our family for almost a year now and my son is very comfortable with her. She’s responsive and amendable to feedback or requests, keeps her cool even when he’s challenging, and is a good communicator.

I have always loved working with children. Seeing them explore and learn new things is very rewarding to be apart of. I am a mother of 2. Once my baby started school I began to nanny/ child care for a family over a span of 5 years as their needs fluctuated with their growing family. I have some experience with autistic children. I have worked with two separate families. The first was 4 year old twins. The second family was 10 and 14 year old boys. Ranging from verbal to non verbal. As a parent myself I understand what it is to entrust your child with another person and I take that responsibility seriously. I am attentive, patient, and nurturing.

She is very reliable and punctual. She is attentive, kind, caring, loving and nurturing. My son loves spending time with her! I always felt reassured when my son was with Sophia!

Hello, my name is Katherina Oleynichenko. I finished Sacramento City College studying Early Childhood Education and finished Sacramento State University this past semester Spring 2025 in Child Development with a minor in Deaf studies. In my professional experience, I have babysat toddlers through kindergarten-aged children at my church on Thursday night every other week for the past two years. My goal was to make sure all the children would play nice, eat and enjoy their snacks, and leave the center with a smile on their faces. At my church, I also participated as a lead counselor and supervisor of children in a program called Vacation Bible School which occurs every summer as a day camp for children ages 4-10. Through Vacation Bible school, I not only supervised children but made sure all were happy, entertained, and fed, as we also had snacks throughout the day and you know what happens when a child does not eat, they are cranky. Another professional experience that I am currently a member of is Awana Clubs, which is ages from 4-6 and 7-12. I volunteer as the main coordinator and also a crew leader which oversees the children and their behavior. I practice Bible verses with them, participate in sports activities, and share lots of hugs. I also have experience with infants and pre-toddlers. I was the main babysitter for 4 years while my own little brother was growing up and I have learned what it means to have a crucial bedtime/daytime schedule for infants, from nap time to food breaks and how much attention infants and little babies need and crying is their main source of disagreement but should not be their main source of communication and smiling is better. Some skills that I have gained over the years are good time management and patience with children. Children want your undivided attention and unconditional affection and as an adult or babysitter, my goal is to provide that environment while also supporting their growth into future young adults. One of my greatest achievements and growth moments as a student in early childhood development and personal development is being able to think of entertaining activities fast and fun games to play if the child begins to get bored. Being creative is an amazing source of outlet to let children be who they are through painting, coloring, or doing various crafts. I also speak Russian and am proficient in American Sign Language. Looking forward to meeting you and your wonderful family. Thank you!

Katie has helped us summers and after shool as a buddy for our autistic tween. She always showed up with a smile on her face, ready to engage and play with him – sitting on the floor for hours playing LEGOs and trains. He loves to talk, and she was great at having conversations with him, keeping him safe, and helping him stick to his routine. Katie was respectful and treated our home with care. She was always cheerful and had a positive attitude.

I am a Nanny from Los Angeles CA. I also do someon call babysitting on the side. I try to schedule these around my existing full time job. Presently I just moved backto the Sherman oaks area, and am searching for some on call or parttime babysitting. my babysitting style first and foremost, am NOT the type of babysitter who is dependent on the T.V for your a childs primary source of entertainment, whether am babysitting, or in a permenant Nanny position,. I do feel educational programs are great in moderation or some relaxing down time after school, or right before bedtime ( with parents permission ) I feel like theres so much more to do outdoors (weather permitting) and indoors as well. I perfer to engage in a child in some crafts, or anything activities they have a flair or special interest in . ( Because contray to popular beliefs not all children are interested in crafts. ) theres outside play, for example... my last babysitting date, she is 3 years old we created a special box with all our activities inside, this box was just for us when I came to babysit. when i arrived at the door she would happily greet me, and run to get our special activities box. That day we colored a big refridgerator size card board box with markers, stickers, and glued colored pipe cleaners, cotten balls, and what ever else we could find outside, and painted our names on the front, pretended we were making a princess castle. . parent/caregiver interaction is great, but its also important we refrain from their "Directing Play" for example.......If a child is coloring in his/her coloring book and wants to paint the frog yellow with pink spots,... Let Them... try not to suggest other colors, or stay in the lines etc, let them express their ceativity the way they need to. eventually they will learn all these life lessons about " what color a frog is?, or learn how to stay with the lines etc. I do understand there are times that children need to be Re-directed when demostrating unconstrutive, unsafe behavior, or testing parental set boundries.

Hi! My name is Hannah and I've been babysitting and nannying since I was 9 years old. I balance creating safe and fun spaces where children can express themselves with creating routine and honoring commitments. My career path has been varied, I have a background in geology and science writing, and love to put those skills to use working through science and language arts homework with children. Most recently I nannied full-time for a family with two daughters in second and fourth grade. Beyond standard care, my duties consisted of tutoring, light meal prep and errands, as well as drop off and pick up. With my skills and experience I prefer to work with children who are potty-trained, 4 years and older. I'm excited to meet you and your family!
