I am Kate, a 27 year old Yoga teacher, youth mindfulness teacher & certified Art Therapist. I have recently moved to Denver from Cleveland and am seeking a family to grow with long term! I have experience working with special needs children since 2004. Including but not limited to Downs Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder and most recently caring for a boy with Cerebral Palsy. I took on full responsibilities for him as he was wheelchair ridden, non verbal and tube fed. Simultaneously I cared for his three siblings, their active lifestyles and the family pets. I was trusted to swim with all of the children in the families pool and stayed at the home for weeks at a time yearly while the parents went on a cruise.
