Hello I would first like to share my thoughts about technology in 2025. What an amazing time to be alive! With many perks come some down sides. It breaks my heart that screens are a part of everything we do in society. We have a super smart computer in our pockets every minute of every day. Mental health issues are at an all-time high along with children and adults feeling lonelier than ever, while at the same time we hold a device that can connect us to anyone in seconds. As a babysitter/nanny I believe that it is crucial to take part in limiting your children's screen time. I'd like to do so by replacing it with real genuine connection, nature, & playtime. The goal is to enjoy more of the present moment and real life. I will succeed at this by getting to know what your children truly enjoy, and making sure we plan fun activities tailored to their interests. Education is extremely valuable so if needed, I will absolutely help with homework, studying or whatever else your little ones need in order to succeed. I would love nothing more than to provide a fun, healthy, and safe environment for your children whether you're working, running errands, or trying to get in some alone time. ~A little bit about me~ I am 30 years old, I have a dog named Addie and 3 chickens (Sunny, Judy, Velma). I am passionate about living a healthy lifestyle. I do this by prioritizing cooking all my meals from scratch/ baking bread, understanding nutrition, movement (dance & enjoy going to the gym), I love being out in nature specifically backpacking & camping. I've worked in a preschool and nannied long & short term for many families since the age of 17. I have worked other jobs and went through periods of not babysitting much at all. I've been babysitting on and off for about 10 years now, working with several families with children of all ages. I really enjoy working with kids, taking care of them, and putting a smile on their faces. I spent a year as a regular part-time nanny for a family with two little girls, ages 2-3 and 4-5, who I had a strong relationship with.
