I have been working with children for almost 2 years. I spent a year working as a preschools teacher’s assistant with 3-4 year olds. Through that I gained a lot of experience and training. I loved playing and interacting with the children. Creating a safe and consistent environment to grow and learn in. Over the summer I was an AuPair in Italy for 3 months and took care of four children, two of them being twins, ages 1-3. It was an incredible experience and allowed me to be more involved in the everyday life and routine of the children and family. Since returning home from Italy, I have gotten the opportunity to substitute, at the preschool I used to work at, almost every week. This has allowed me to work with ages 18 months- 5 years old. Along with being a nanny for two children which has been a great experience as well. Then I was an Au Pair again this summer for 3 months with a different family who had two children.
