I've lived in Colorado my entire life, in the same town I was born in. I just recently earned my Masters degree and spend some of my free time helping out in 1st and 4th grade classrooms. I was a nanny for one family for 6 years, beginning when there oldest sone was 6 weeks old and continuing through the birth of their second son. I knew long ago I wanted to work with kids an whatever capacity I could, and I started out as a babysitter, but once I got my first nanny job, I fell in love. There was something unique about that bond I developed with the kids. I've watched kids of any age, from infant to teenager, and love each age for the little quirks they posses. I adapt my care to the family's so it's what the kids are used to.
