I recently renewed my Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification in April 2021. As a substitute in the home daycares, I am use to being with multiple children, following nutrition guidelines, naptime routines, etc. I also care for 2 children age 3 and 6 years on an as-needed basis. When I am with children, I love to see how their minds work and how their interests develop. I enjoy kids music, shows, creative and imaginative play, reading children's books, etc. During activities, I incorporate educational aspects based on age such as identifying colors, right/left, critical thinking, etc. I can also provide homework assistance. The children that I care for always come first but if there is an opportunity to wash the dishes, sweep, or fold the laundry, etc, I will do so.
