Most recently I was a Math/Reading Interventionist, giving individualized and small group instruction to children struggling academically. I also have experience with special needs children and providing ABA play-based therapy to children with autism. Although I’ve had many different roles in the early childhood field, the times where I feel most fulfilled are when a family reaches out to me and entrusts me with the responsibility of caring for their children in their home. I am a mother to my 5-year-old son, so I know firsthand the fear that comes along with searching for someone safe and qualified. My responsibilities include waking the children up for school, helping the youngest get dressed and brush his teeth, making sure they’ve had breakfast, packing their lunches, and getting all three to school on time.
