In addition to being a long-term Nanny and a preschool teacher and a director of a children's ministry I also include and enjoy babysitting it doesn't have to be long-term or full-time it could be short-term it could be a couple of hours maybe for Mom and Dad go out to dinner or it could be maybe Mom and Dad's going away for the weekend need someone to be with their child for the weekend I can do anytime overnights weekend's almost full availability I have lots of experience I have experience with children from just newborns all the way up to 11 12 years old I prefer to stay around I would say 6 or 7 and under and I have 23 years experience total working with children in all different areas. I believe that children learn through playing I think that playing is a really important part of their learning process and even as an adult I like to get down on the floor with them and play and build blocks with them and and talk with them or you know work with them when I have them on the changing table maybe we'll sing a song together or something I tried to put little pieces of learning into everything that they're doing and I am very flexible and I bowled well with whatever their schedule is and babysitting with me is not just your typical babysitting I tend to charge a little bit more just because I am a professional and I don't just sit around and watch TV while the kids playing or in their room or whatever if I happen to be babysitting while the baby is asleep then I will try to get wash some dishes wipe down the counters maybe clean the bathroom if there's a rocking chair in the room where the baby is and I'll stay in the rocking chair and I might just maybe be on my cell phone talk to my kids texting them or something while the baby sleeping so I can be in the room with them and I would be keeping an eye on the baby at all times if there's no chair in the room then I might sit in another area of the house but still keeping it quiet so I can listen for the child to wake up I usually tend to do some kind of light housekeeping if you want me to help out do some laundry or something that's totally fine I can do that while the kids are sleeping I have no problem cooking meals I love to cook I enjoy cooking and I consider myself pretty good at it and so I also enjoy making healthy meal options for the kids and I almost forgot to tell you I am allergic to dogs mainly the big dogs that shed a lot usually small dogs like a chihuahua so I look forward to meeting you

I have been professionally nannying for the last 7 years. I have worked with many different ages, including twins, and families with multiple children.
