Hello Parents, Here is a little about me. After you read this and you are still interested in using me let me know when I can meet your family. At age 12 my first job was at a bowling alley watching children in Pensacola. In my mid-20's I married a childhood friend who I convenience to enlisted into the Navy. We moved to Virginia where I volunteered in a place that was a holding place for children whose parents or guardians didn't want them or couldn't take care of them. Most of the children were sad. I worked hard to figure out how I could put a smile on their faces. I'm no longer married but I have 2 wonderful sons from the marriage. When my sons were young, we moved back to Pensacola. I took a lot of child development classes from PJC. I've worked in several childcare businesses and Retail businesses. When my sons became adults and lived on their own, I started caring for one Military family's young children at a time in my home or their home. All of these families got transferred but they still send me pictures of their children. My fee is $15 per hour, and I only accept cash that is paid on the same day that I work for you. I'll take your child outside to play with their toys or play games inside on raining days. If I'm watching your infant, I will talk, sing and use age-appropriate toy to entertain them. While your older child is playing, I'll ask them to touch a color, count the toys etc. Bathroom time and washing hands often are important. If they are happily playing inside and I see laundry that needs to be folded or the floor that needs to be swept you may see me doing it. So, if you are still interested let me know.

Hello! I will start by saying that I am 18 years old and about to go into college for Elementary education! I have also worked around and with kids for 2 years at an RV resort in East Milton, so I have experience and the patience. I can cook and bake, and I am creative with art, so making activities for kids to do is fairly easy. I am great at helping others understand things like math and science, so homework help is no problem at all! I am also great at cleaning, so if need be, I will do it. I love taking care of people, so I am very excited to start! Also, a little side note, my schedule may differ a bit due to my college classes, but I would love to discuss my availability and find a way!

As a mom of two wonderful children, ages 9 and 11, I understand firsthand the trust and care that parents look for in a sitter. My own kids have been my greatest teachers, and they've given me a deep appreciation for the unique joys and challenges of every age and stage. I love being a sitter because I get to connect with kids and help them feel safe, happy, and engaged. Whether it's reading a favorite book, building an epic Lego castle, or just offering a listening ear, I believe in creating a fun and supportive environment where children can thrive. My experience extends far beyond my own home. For years as an adult and when growing, I have contributed to and co-ran nursery programs at my local church and managed the musical one year. I'm comfortable caring for children of all ages, from toddlers to school-aged kids. I have a proven ability to manage multiple children at once and keep a peaceful and organized household. My daily life as a parent has given me a natural understanding of child development and how to handle a wide range of situations, from sibling squabbles to homework meltdowns. Meal Prep: I'm skilled at preparing healthy meals and snacks, and I'm mindful of food allergies and dietary restrictions. Safety and Transport: I'm diligent about creating a safe environment and am a responsible driver with a clean record. I have CPR and First Aid Training as well! Homework Help: I'm happy to help with homework and school projects. Flexible & Reliable: I'm known for being punctual, reliable, and able to adapt to a family's unique schedule and needs. I am excited to get to know your family and provide a fun, safe, and loving environment for your child. Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have!

I miss having young children! I am an empty nester and miss reading books, telling stories, coloring, and painting with children. Reading bedtime stories, playing make-believe. making blanket forts and pretending we are camping! Singing songs, I raised my kids to learn and love.

Hi there! My name is Sydney Harding. I’m 21, newly married, and new to Pensacola. My husband is in the Navy and we are so excited to be in the area. I love Jesus, and from the outpouring of His love, I hope to love and care for your kiddos! I have a degree in human development and a minor in language sciences. My whole time in college was spent studying development and especially language development, making me confident that I would know how to not only care for your children, but help them to grow and progress in their development. I have been babysitting since I was about 14. Before that I was a "Mother's helper," which meant the parents were home while I cared for the kids. I have worked in the nursery at church for years, volunteered at a boys and girls club at an elementary school for months, as well as worked in a Speech and Language therapies office to get shadowing hours. I have spent a lot of time studying and learning how cultivate children's development. In the time that I worked at a Speech and Language therapy office, I worked with many kids with special needs. Majority of the children were 5 and under, but we had some kids come in that were in middle school and high school. I learned specifically how to further their speech skills, but I also grew in behavioral management and how to keep children with special needs safe.
