I’m from Cuba and English is my second language, which I learned in Miami-Dade College. Currently, I live in Coral Gables. Since the beginning I have been involved in my children's education. I worked at their school, North Beach Elementary, as an assistant and substitute teacher, in inclusion classes, one-on-one, and in intervention programs from 2002-2009. Additionally, after school, I tutored and babysat. Then, because of my son's ADHD, I became a Learning Coach in the Miami-Dade Virtual School (2010 - 2015) helping him and other students succeed in middle school. I have been babysitting for a long time, initially with the intention of earning an extra income. However, I found out that this is the most rewarding and loveliest job I have ever done.
