We live in Ruskin and I am not good at being retired - I really like to stay active and have interaction with children, especially babies and toddlers. I love all kinds of animals - we have two dogs and seven cats! I am available for date nights and on weekends. Hi! My name is Ashley Boatwright, I am a 24 year-old from Atlanta, Ga. I graduated GA Southern University with a Business Administration Degree in Management in 2023 and relocated to FL upon my graduation. I have 11 years of combined experience in babysitting, nannying, and working in quality-rated daycares. I am currently a nanny for 3 girls age 2-7 and started when the youngest was a week old. This position included drop offs, pickups, extra curricular actives, household management, and everything in between. I am looking for a new position as the youngest will be starting preschool in August. I started babysitting in middle school and went on to work in child care in high school through an early childhood program where I worked my first job in a daycare setting. I floated between all rooms (3 months to 5 years old) and assisted the lead teachers with whatever was needed. This included feedings, changing, activities, learning time, nap time, and many other duties. Through this position, I gained 2 full-time nanny clients and many other babysitting jobs. These positions included babysitting individual kids, multiple children, infants, toddlers, elementary kids, and special needs children. During the summers I was a full-time/part-time nanny to 3 different families with kids aged 2-8. When I left for college I got a job at a quality-rated daycare in Statesboro where I was a co-lead teacher for a class of 1 to 2-year-olds. Children are my passion.... and I honestly mean that! I sadly never had my own... so I try to surround myself in a child's love! First thing parents ask me and want to know is, am I vaccinated? Yes and I have the Moderna Booster, and I will bring my card along to show you. I moved down to Florida 10 years ago from Chicago to take care of my 2 elderly parents and just a few weeks ago my father passed. I now have a lot of time so I want to get back into babysitting and child care. In addition to being a full time nanny I have experience in babysitting all ages of Children. I have started with infants of 3 months all the way up to Tweens. I am not a sitter who will play on their smart phone in the oresence of your child... actually I find that behavior rude when it is done to me and to be honest my job is to engage and interact with your child so we bring out the best in each other. That is the very least I can do for your child and it is my job! So please don't worry about that. Also if I am driving your child anywhere I will keep your child's safety as my number one priority and I drive cautiously and if course defensively looking out for any distracted drivers that might exist.
