Hi. My name is Amada, I'm from Brazil and I've been living in Florida for 2 years with my husband, who has an MBA here in Lakeland. I've always loved children. I've taken care of many cousins ​​who are younger than me, and one day I dream of being a mother. Because I'm very close to children, I decided to work as a babysitter as soon as I arrived in the United States. I've worked for 3 families here in the city with children ranging from 2 to 10 years old. I really enjoy playing, talking and taking care of them. I love working with children and having the opportunity to learn and grow with them. I currently work as a substitute teacher in FCCS and my first ever job was at a daycare, where I had many skills needed in the childcare industry. After working there a couple of months, I worked for a nannying/baby nurse agency and I had the pleasure of working as an infant nurse/caregiver and was able to care for two lovely little girls. I also had the responsibility of assisting their mother in the house with light duties. Overall it was a very lovely experience and I learned a lot from these individuals. I also like to do a great deal of interactive activities that are NOT T.V. or videogame related, though I do like to play some videogames myself (in moderation). I goto the park with my daughter and bring a bucket of chalk for us. We end up making a huge mural with all the kids-while all the other moms are texting lol. I'm proof that its possible to be responsible, intelligent, able to discipline when necessary, yet able to relate to kids of all ages. I'm punctual, communication oriented, ENERGETIC, very caring, emotionally available, mentally stable and trustworthy. As a mom, I understand how IMPORTANT it is to find quality care for your children. I invest myself and my heart into the kids I work with-infants to teens. They all need and deserve equal amounts of heart from their caregiver. In short, I venture to be the kind of nanny I would want for my child.

As a nanny I have over 10 years experience. I have cared for infants to pre-teens. I have worked as many as twenty to forty hours per week. I also have week nights and weekends available for date nights. Hi I am a retired dental hygienist after working 30 yrs in the same office. I have 4 kids and 8 grandkids. am available for week days and date nights and overnights. .I was working for a.vascular surgeon and neurologist taking care of there 18 mo old..started when she was 3 mo but grandma retired and wanted to watch the baby. I was watching a 3 yr.old little girl in Valrico 5 days a week ..started full time when she was 4 mo old but she is going to montessori full time so my job ended . I was working 4 days a week for a couple in Valrico taking care of a 2 yr old( I started when she was 3 mo) and 7 and 8 yr old. She is now enrolled in a Montessori school .l And I was working full time in Tampa watching a yr old but that ended because he is going to the same school as his brother.Previous to that I was working for 2 lawyers who have a 4 mo old and a 2.5 yr old. but they moved to Tallahasee. And I also worked for a couple in Plant City who have a 2.5 yr old son during the week. I am cpr certified and do not have a criminal background.. I love children and when I retired from the dental profession I knew I wanted day care to be my next profession.. I live in Lakeland but I don't mind driving 45 min to an hr away. I was taking care of a 5 mo old and 2 yr old in riverview but the grandma retired and wanted to watch the kids I worked on thursdays for a family watching their 18 mo old and 3 yr old and mon and tues taking care of a 6 mo old and 2.5 yr old.. but those jobs have both ended due to moving away .previously I was working for a single mom with 3 boys..ages 4 9 and 16 until the youngest went to a preschool.. Before that I was working for a family in Brandon every other week taking care of the household and 4 girls.. I also took care of a 4 yr old in Tampa on some weekends..started when he was 4 mo old. I also do house cleaning. I have 3 children (all boys) 1 in school and other graduated and lives in ny and the oldest is working and has his own apartment. I love working with kids and teaching them new things. The happiness on a kids face when they finally accomplish something they have been working on makes me love being a sitter. I enjoy the outdoors, animals, crafts and trying new things. I work with preschoolers and I'm DCF certified as well as CPR certified.
