Hello I moved to Florida from the UK. In the UK i am a Registered Nurse in Learning Disabilities with a First Class Honours. I have been a care giver for 28 years, i have worked in the private care sector and for the local council, with children and adults with learning disabilities and mental health, as a support worker, youth worker and musical theater teacher. My last job in the UK was a staff nurse in an acquired brain injury rehabilitation and long term care unit, where i was trained in ventilation and Tracheostomy care. I have completed all relevant certificates, First aid, Manual handling, medication management, health and safety, food hygiene. I am unable to work as a RN in the US unless i return to university to re-train. I have been a stay at home Mom with my daughter and have been babysitting for friends and neighbors. Also taken on multiple jobs via this site. I have worked as a school nurse for the last 5 years. But recently moved to Clermont. I currently spend my days doing arts and craft, baking, swimming, playing and going out on adventures when she is not in school. I have worked at an animal hospital in the past and became very experienced in many aspects of the veterinary field and can administer vaccinations, bathe, partially groom (depending on breed) give subQ fluids, give shots and other special needs. I am Red Cross certified in BOTH human AND pet first aid and CPR!! I know people cannot believe their is a class for dogs, but I am serious in knowing everything I can to save my "children's" life!
