We had the absolute pleasure to work with Ms. Joy over the past 8 months while living in Florida and she has been amazing. Our family is moving so we have to say good-bye but we highly recommend Joy for any family looking for an occasional sitter. She was very fast and thorough during the interview process, had no problem with the background check and meeting in-person for the interview. Our two children immediately took to Joy and she built such amazing rapport with both of them. She stays fully engaged in all activities, assists with daily routines and provides updates and a synopsis of the day/night. She was always on time, stayed as long as we needed her and was extremely flexible. A true gem for a sitter! She also loves dogs and our large cane corso took to her right away as well. Any family would be lucky to have Ms. Joy in their lives to help!

I love being a babysitter because I enjoy creating a safe, supportive, and positive environment where children feel comfortable and cared for, and parents feel confident leaving their children in good hands. I find it rewarding to build trust with families and to be someone kids can rely on, whether that means engaging in play, helping with homework, or maintaining consistent routines. I have several years of hands-on childcare experience working with children of various ages, including regular babysitting for multiple families. I am comfortable managing meals, bedtime routines, homework help, and supervising playtime, as well as caring for more than one child at a time. I adapt easily to different family needs and parenting styles while keeping children’s safety and well-being as my top priority. I am currently a graduate student with a strong understanding of child development and behavior. I am CPR and First Aid certified and trained to respond calmly and appropriately in emergencies. Families describe me as patient, dependable, and attentive, and I pride myself on being reliable, organized, and communicative. My goal is always to provide dependable care while creating a calm, fun, and nurturing experience for every child.
