I currently live in Midtown, ATL and I’m seeking a part-time babysitting/nanny position. I’m great for date nights or last minute errands! I am the second oldest of 5 sisters. I’m CPR/AED/First Aid certified and teach group fitness on various days throughout the week. I get COVID tested regularly and I’ve never had the virus. I have been working with children since the age of 14. I am available for supervision or tutoring (English and grammar, science, and basic math). I have spent time as an assistant teacher at Unique Little Hands Daycare in Suffolk, VA. I worked with children ages 1-8 but I spent most of my time in the 1 and 2 year old classrooms. I have also volunteered working with older kids (supervision and tutoring). I am able to aid in potty training and pride myself in teaching children basic knowledge such as numbers, letters, colors and simple words. I am very creative and love to get messy with the kids and allow them to do hands on crafts to stimulate their minds as well and their senses. I have just graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in Early Childhood Education so I am aware that children learn differently and I know how to tailor my lessons or tutoring to best benefit each child. I have worked at Special Olympics for over 4 years and I am comfortable caring for children with special needs, children with autism , children with physical disabilities and also children who learn at a slower pace than others. I have also worked with children who speak English as a second language. I am patient and like to focus on children being kind and open to everyone, but I do not tolerate children being disrespectful to adults or other children. Overall I have a LOVE of kids and I only want the best for them as a teacher. Babysitting is a great way for me to build more experience and make money while doing what I love.
