I have recently graduated college. I have CPR and first aid training. I love to read, paint, sing, and cook. I am very focused and determined, especially when it comes to education. I also like to have fun and I am very creative, which is why I get along so well with children. I respect the parents and their way of parenting. In addition, I like to encourage growth in children's abilities by slowly giving them small amounts of independence in decision making and talking them through their choices. I have had some experience babysitting over the years especially since I am the oldest of four siblings. I have experience babysitting them overnight and during the day. One of my siblings is asthmatic, so I know how to be quick on my feet when it comes to emergency situations like those. I also have the experience of babysitting a two-year-old child that was being potty trained and I have the experience of babysitting 8 children at once with the help of one other person. My most recent professional childcare experience is as an after-school teacher at a Montessori school where I supervise and inspire growth in around 15 children that are 2 to 6 years old.
