Hi families I’m Emily!! I recently moved back to Miami after spending time living in Hawaii and traveling. I have 8 years of experience working with children of all ages, from infants to teens. During college, I was a full-time nanny caring for children from 3 months to 13 years old, and I also spent 2 years running sports aftercare programs at multiple elementary schools. I provide them with kindness and compassion but also a small structured curriculum of one educational activity and one physical activity. From a very young age I’ve devolved the love for watching over children and sharing the mindful behavior and quality ethics with them. I’ve worked with newborns, infants, toddlers, kids, teens & special needs! The responsibilities I’ve picked up were feeding, changing diapers, tutoring and so on. If transportation is needed, I also am willing to hold that responsibility as well. I can also assist in potty training, light housekeeping, running errands and much more.

I am also fluent in Portuguese and have had the opportunity to teach the language to some of the children I’ve worked with, something I find very special. I have experience working with children with special needs, including children with Level 3 Autism, which has taught me even more patience, sensitivity, and love for what I do.
