I am positive, and bubbly with a huge heart full of love to give, share & teach to kiddos. I am 24 years old, born and raised on Oahu. I have been an official sitter for about 7 years for kids of all ages and am CPR & First Aid certified with my own means of transportation. I am always actively looking for ways to entertain and bring nothing but laughter and smiles to their faces. With a wide variety of skills including cooking, cleaning & tutoring. I am flexible and adaptable and am more than willing to learn new skills that will help me to do my best job with each individual child and situation. Patience and gentleness is a strong suit of mine. I enforce safety, cleanliness and good mannerisms for children under my care. I love to have fun and always aim to be very active with the kids in a way that provides balance, stability and comfort to their daily routines and foundations.

My name is JJ and I’m a 21 year old female who is energetic and patient that loves working with kids. I am a certified EMT and a member of the Army National Guard. I enjoy fun and safe learning activities such as neighborhood walks and arts/crafts. I have over 5 years of paid experience from newborn to 8 years old. I also offer light cleaning services for no additional charge (heavier cleaning duties will come with a small extra charge). I hope to provide a safe and caring environment to your child/children.

Aloha, My name is Stacy. I have 15+ years of comprehensive child care experience. I am experienced working with newborns (also premature twins) through teenage years of 15 years old. I also have experience caring for children with disabilities and special needs ranging from ADHD, ADD, Autism, and Down Syndrome to physical limitations. I've even worked with multiple children, with more than 5 at a time with ease. I approach child care with patience, attentiveness, and active engagement in fun, educational activities, and nuturing to create a relaxed, fun and safe environment for the children. I'm highly invested in childhood development, so I'm planning on going back to school to become a pediatric nurse to expand my caregiving skills. I love taking on any and all child care responsibilities - mealtime, story time, homework, and playtime. And to my character, I am known to be responsible, reliable, caring, hardworking , and very punctual. I'm a non-smoker, I have up-to-date CPR and first aid training and own reliable transportation. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your family! Please feel free to message me if you have any questions. Mahalo! Stacy Kukla

I have been babysitting since I was 14 after I became a certified babysitter. I am very comfortable with kids of all ages. I can assist with homework and tutoring. Not a typical TV nanny. I prefer doing activities spending time reading and making art. Reliable transportation, and military friendly.

Karen joined our family in June 2018, and was with us through the summer of 2021. When she started, our little guy (our first) was only four months old and as new parents, we were challenged with making an incredibly hard decision on his future caregiver. Plain and simple, we picked one of the warmest, thoughtful, compassionate, and supportive people we know. As a new mom, I was nervous to leave my infant with someone and Karen came poised and confident in handling his needs and also asked of and was open to our preferences for his care. She offered her expertise, coached us at times, and was an unbelievably calming force in our lives. Over the course of the three fantastic years, including a very challenging time due to COVID, she was a constant in our son’s life, caring for him, teaching him manners, getting him ahead on school lessons (ABCs, numbers, etc.), and learning Spanish. We navigated working at home together, being open and communicative about the pandemic, and supporting one another. Overall, her approach to childcare is child-centric. She was so amazing supporting our son and encouraging him to learn for himself, asking questions, fostering his inquisitiveness, and knowing when to allow him to control his environment or when it was time to provide more guidance. Even though he is off to preschool, we hope that Karen will always be part of our son’s life, and we highly recommend her.

Hi, I'm Rosa and I have lots of experience in watching children. I'm the 6th child of an 11 children home. Took care of my younger brother and sisters. I have 2 children of my own which are grown. I'm a military wife and I understand how hard it is to find a good baby sitter. My back ground was retail management and customer service. Now I want to care for children, cause I love kids.

We hired Kayla as a sitter during our trip to Honolulu, and she was absolute perfection! She was phenomenal with our four-month-old, adapting seamlessly as she traveled with us to multiple activities around the island. Kayla kept our little one happy, engaged, and thoroughly entertained the entire time, giving us total peace of mind while we were out and about. If you are looking for an exceptional, trustworthy, and wonderful sitter in the Honolulu area, we cannot recommend her enough!

Aloha! My name is Kaydee. I’ve worked for Kama’aina Kids for almost 3 years now, managing my site and watching groups of children from k-6th grade ranging in ages. I provide them with kindness and compassion but also a small structured curriculum of one educational activity and one physical activity. From a very young age I’ve devolved the love for watching over children and sharing the mindful behavior and quality ethics with them. I’ve worked with newborns, infants, toddlers, kids, teens & special needs! The responsibilities I’ve picked up were feeding, changing diapers, tutoring and so on. If transportation is needed, I also am willing to hold that responsibility as well. I can also assist in potty training, light housekeeping, running errands and much more.

Hello! My name is Kayla and I live on Schofield. I am in the national guard and my husband is active duty. I currently am employed at Stepping Stones academy as an infant teacher, I’ve been in this position for 2 years. I have gone through many early childhood development classes as well as CPR/First aid certified with a fingerprint clearance. I have my childhood development associates as well. I was employed at Sunrise Preschool in Arizona for over a year and worked as a lead teacher for 2/3 year olds. I worked on lesson planning with them on a daily basis as well as potty training. I’ve worked as a family babysitter as well as a nanny for long periods of times. I absolutely adore children and the fun/witty personalities they all have. Each child is unique and i believe they should be treated as such, and it’s always a joy to get to know them and build a friendship with trust. I have my own 3 year old daughter as well that teaches me more and more everyday.
