Hello, I'm Donae and I have worked in a day care since I was 13 years old.Then when I was 16 I resign from the daycare and moved on to working in day camps for 2 years with children. But then I had to leave that job and go away to college. So now I'm back for the summer an looking for a summer job an whats a great way to spend it with out kids. I really love working with kids because some day they will probably be future babysitters.

I love working with children! I've been babysitting since I was 16 years old. I'm the youngest of 6 and have helped with my nieces and nephews since they came home from the hospital. I have worked with ages newborn all the way up to 12 years old. One of my favorite things about working with kids is seeing how they see the world.

I’m a nanny of 3 years and love spending my time caring for children ages newborn to teen. I also enjoy helping the family by attending to needs around the home such as laundry, dishes, and cleaning. I am currently enrolled at Kirkwood Community College, where I am taking online courses to gain my associates degree in Liberal Arts. After Kirkwood I plan to go to a University like Northern Iowa or into an Occupational Therapy Assistant Program to hopefully work in the pediatric side of that field. I have many years of previous experience being a babysitter as I spent my summers throughout middle school and high school babysitting my three younger cousins. While babysitting, I love doing fun crafts with the children, coloring pictures, going on walks, traveling to the park to play, doing fun girly things like painting nails or playing dress up with them. I am very patient and comfortable working with children of all personalities and any age. I am great at problem solving and love to be around children and build strong connections with them. I have always loved kids I come from a big family, my mom has one sister and 6 brothers and let's just say I have always been the one that is willing to help.
