I think discipline is important and necessary as long as the repair piece isn’t skipped. I believe it takes a village to raise great men and women. I run a tidy ship with a detailed schedule and basic routine. I like a plan; this plan can change, but I do better with a general idea of what to expect. In my experience, children do not care if I have a plan, so being ready to pivot is necessary and can make things fun.
