     I'm a fun-loving mature mom with two grown (27 & 25) daughters.  I took an early retirement from my full-time job after 30 years and now work 2 days a week as an administrative assistant with a real estate office.   I was extremely lucky to have my own mother as my babysitter when my girls were growing up, but I realize the importance of having a dependable and trustworthy babysitter who genuinely cares about your children.  I'm the type of mom who likes to get down on the floor and play with kids and feel that "make believe" play can be some of the most fun times instead of all the organized and computer-type games there are today.   
     When my daughters were in school, I had flexibility with my job so I was able to go on most of the field trips with their classes.  I was always involved with PTO, Market Day and was a "softball mom" following the girl's traveling team. 
     I live in northern Aurora with my husband, oldest daughter, who is a Jr. High Physical Education teacher, and my 2 dogs.  My hobbies are gardening, reading and home decorating.  I enjoy volunteering at the Northern Illinois Food Bank in St. Charles.
