Howdy! I'm Alexx the loving experienced sitter and preschool teacher! I’m currently a full-time preschool teacher in the toddler room entering my second year, and I’m also pursuing my bachelor’s degree in Child Development. Caring for children is more than just a job to me, it’s part of my family legacy. Both my mother and grandmother were preschool teachers, and I’m proud to continue in their footsteps. On the topic of family I come from a big one! I have babysat all 17 of my younger cousins, nieces and nephew's over the years so I’m very comfortable juggling multiple kiddos and meeting each child’s unique needs. I’m CPR certified (infant/child and adult), and while I don’t own a car, I do have a valid driver’s license and am happy to drive if needed. Pets are no problem I’m a big animal lover! I have been working with children professionally as a full time nanny for the past 23 years. I have extensive experience with newborns, infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, including experience with twins and in nanny shares. I love to form a bond with the children I work with; I have stayed with most of my nanny families from when their child was a newborn or infant until they began preschool, 2 to 3 years later.
