Hi! I’m Brooklynn, a junior at Illinois State University studying Exercise Science. I’ve always had a natural connection with kids. I’m the oldest sibling and have helped raise my younger brother and sister (now 11 and 12) for most of their lives. On top of that, I have lots of experience caring for my younger cousins, so I’m used to managing different ages, personalities, and needs. I love being a sitter because kids bring so much energy, curiosity, and joy into the world. I enjoy being someone they can have fun with while also keeping them safe and supported. I started babysitting when I was 10 years old. I am 30 and within those 20 years I babysat, was a traveling nanny, coached gymnastics, and worked full time at a day care in springfield while continuing to watch friends kids. I have been CPR certified in the past multiple times but I do believe I would need to renew it. I would be able to administer it if needed. I own 2 business, in the process of starting a non profit and work in my husband's health coaching business. I am looking for something that is more time flexible.

For starters I have two younger siblings of my own, and being an older sister can really set you up for things like this. I've baby sat for numerous people I know with younger, disabled, mentally challenged and babies. I was a regular sitter for year working with a 2&4 year old. I can work with kids of all ages!!
