I have been working with children professionally as a full time nanny for the past 23 years. I have extensive experience with newborns, infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, including experience with twins and in nanny shares. I love to form a bond with the children I work with; I have stayed with most of my nanny families from when their child was a newborn or infant until they began preschool, 2 to 3 years later. I love spending time with kids; they always keep me on my toes! I really enjoy reading books, singing and playing with babies and young children, and taking them out to the park on a nice day. I also incorporate my love of animals and nature in our day, as I love to teach children about the living world around them, and help to bring out their inner scientist. I grew up in the Northern Virginia area just outside of Washington DC; I got my AS at NVCC, before finishing up my BS in Biology at George Mason University. I lived in Portland, OR for over 10 years, before moving to Collinsville, IL in August 2022. In my free time I bike, hike, swim, practice yoga, and cook healthy meals.

New to St. Louis from North Carolina, and relocating my new LLC to the Midwest, I am looking for occasional work in the area I excel. I have cared for children as well as cleaned homes and cooked my whole life. Prior to relocating to the area, I was with my last family for 2.5 years caring full-time for their 2 little girls since birth and miss them greatly. I do have two college degrees, one in nursing and the other in social work, which add education to my already natural ability and expertise working with children. I do have experience with children on the autism spectrum as well as newborns and multiples. My ideal position currently would be a with infants, including twins and on a part-time and flexible schedule. I hope to bring my magic into your home and care for your little one/s like I do my own grandchildren.

It absolutely breaks my heart that we had to let Jill go because we moved (almost wish we could have convinced her to move with us!!!!). Jill took care of my boy/girl twins almost all of 2025, from roughly 6 months to 15 months of age. She was such a fundamental person in their lives, to the point that they were obsessed with her! They absolutely loved every single time she walked into the house. She was so knowledgable and intuitive about the best practices to care for them, to help them learn new things, to improve their mood and functionality. Always so flexible when we had changes in the way we wanted things handled, their sleep schedules, anything we could possibly ask. Oftentimes, she would approach us (always openly communicated kindly and with honesty) about things she thought might be good for them as they develop, whether it be a new type of toy or food or method of handling a tantrum. Her approach is always being so gentle and loving. Genuinely, she became a third grandmother for them (and somehow, even better than other people's grandmothers, to be fair...). To be completely honest, she even became a close friend to ME. I had so much support being a new mom and figuring out the ways that I wanted to raise them and everything. Jill is the most amazing person you could ever consider to take care of your kids. She is flexible, kind, and genuine with a warm heart. You seriously could not consider a better nanny for your children.

Hi, I’m Lia! I currently work at an upscale restaurant and am available for childcare any time that I am not scheduled there. I am open to babysitting, nanny fill-ins, date nights, parent nights out, backup care, occasional care, event childcare, and recurring part-time support. I have over 7 years of experience as a nanny caring for infants, toddlers, and children through early adolescence, including full-time nanny positions and long-term family support. My experience includes caring for neurodivergent children, developmental support, structured routines, creative play, and adapting to each family’s unique parenting style and household dynamic. In addition to childcare, I have experience working as a personal assistant and am comfortable helping households stay organized through scheduling, errands, meal support, household tasks, planning, and anticipating day-to-day needs. I love creating calm, engaging environments centered around connection, outdoor play, imagination, emotional awareness, and age-appropriate independence. I believe in structure with intentional free time, balancing routine with flexibility so children feel supported while still having space to explore, create, and grow. I am based in Maplewood and happy to support families looking for trusted childcare, whether for a few hours, occasional coverage, or regular supplemental care. I’d love to connect and see if we’re a good fit.

Hello! My name is Samantha! I currently work as a CPR certified personal trainer with a Bachelor's in Foods and Nutrition from SDSU. Despite my current field in health and nutrition, I have worked with kids since i before I was 13 years old. Most of my experience has been volunteer through my churches, but I also have years worth of babysitting experiencing kids of different ages. I also have experience as a tutor. When I was in junior high, I used to help out with the preschool and toddler classes at church. By the time I was 13, I was a teacher for the preschool class. I did this for five years, and I often babysat for the kids in my class as well. It broke my heart to say goodbye to all of my students when I moved to San Diego to pursue a degree in nutrition. After moving to San Diego, I spent a couple of years working in the 2 year old class at my church. I had to stop when the church closed down. The last couple years have been focused entirely on my degree. However, I really miss working with kids. I enjoys making up fun games to play and listening to their crazy made up stories. I know how hard it can be to pick a sitter for your child. I would love to meet up with you in person and let you interview me so that you can feel more comfortable.

Samantha was an amazing nanny. My husband became a stay at home dad which is the only reason we let her go. I would hire her back in an instant. Always on time. Always reliable. She took care of every need we had and was unbothered by son during his teething phase. We had her for only 6 months but she was a life-saver for me. My son can be very energetic and she kept up with him and encouraged his learning and development.
