Archana S. provided excellent care for our children. We have a 2 year old and a nearly 4 year old, and Archana has given care for both at once, and one-on-one. She is thorough, dependable, thoughtful and - above all - fun! The kids really enjoyed having her as a caregiver. I will hire her again, and recommend her to you and your children without reservation!

Hello! I live in Chicago and have a full-time job during the week as a Delivery Consultant for a software company. I don't have any children of my own, but love being around children of all ages watching them react to new things and explore the world. I consider myself to be optimistic, friendly, energetic, creative, and firm when necessary. Outside of my full time job, I avoid screen time as much as possible. I much prefer to be out doing new things - love the arts, baking/cooking, and being active. I babysat regularly in high school and college - ages from infant to elementary. While in high school I volunteered at a local fitness center in the day care center, caring for children as their parents used the gym. I participated in Big Brothers/Big Sisters in college and enjoyed mentoring children in underserved communities. I have three young nieces and a nephew that live out of state. I don't get to see them as often as I would like, so I cherish my time with them and enjoy spoiling them as much as I can! I am generally available after 5pm on weekday evenings and anytime on weekends. I have a car and live in the South Loop neighborhood.

Leslie is all around fantastic. She is so personable, genuine, responsive, punctual - all the things you'd want in a babysitter. The first time we ever left our daughter with someone other than family/day care was with Leslie, and we were comfortable the evening we went out. Worth noting: we don't have a wifi enabled monitor and still felt at ease. She also assists with bottle washing, which is a major bonus. We're lucky to have connected with her!

Norma M., Nanny in Chicago, IL 60614 with 20 years of paid experience

Hello families! I'm Norma, a dedicated and nurturing nanny with over 20 years of experience in providing exceptional care to children aged 0-15. I am leaving my current nanny family of twin girls that I've cared for about 2 years, as they are moving to another state. Previously, I cared for 2 children for 6 years. We departed due to full time school enrollment. I've helped families with schedules, sleep training, drop offs, and potty training. With my daycare/preschool child development knowledge, I have also helped the children transition to a school setting, like teaching them their alphabet to teach them how to write their names. I also taught them spanish as I am bilingual. I am passionate about creating a safe and stimulating environment where children can thrive. My approach is warm, patient, and attentive, ensuring each child’s unique needs are met with love and understanding while also making learning fun. I started babysitting at 15. During high school, I volunteered at Christopher House pre-school as a teacher's aide for about 20 students. It was during this time that I fell in love with childhood development. I found it so rewarding learning all the fundamental elements to prepare children for kindergarten. During my first two years of college, I was lucky enough to work as a teacher's assistant and later as Head Teacher at a pre-school and daycare while also working alongside occupational and physical therapists during my time there. With the vast knowledge I acquired in a daycare setting (from learning the feeding schedule for a newborn, putting down a toddler, to teaching five year olds their abc's), I decided to move on to being a nanny. I went from following a curriculum to a more personalized schedule. Hopefully, you will consider me to provide care for your little one. Thank you for your time. Please feel free to reach out to me via sittercity messenger for any more questions. I'm comfortable with animals, but unfortunately, I'm highly allergic to cats.

We've been very fortunate to have Norma as our Nanny caring for our 2-year-old twin girls since they were 6 months old. We are only parting ways because we've made the difficult decision to move out of state. During her time with our family, Norma has consistently demonstrated exceptional care, patience, and professionalism. Caring for twin toddlers requires a unique combination of energy, organization, and attentiveness, and she has exceeded our expectations in every regard. Norma created a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for our daughters. She planned age-appropriate activities that supported their development, encouraged their curiosity, and helped them build important social and communication skills including learning some Spanish. She was attentive to their individual personalities and needs while also managing the challenges that come with caring for twins. Her constant attention to our kids through thoughtful play, teaching them about the world and how to communicate, has accelerated their development and confidence. Norma is always patience, calm, and speaks with respect to our girls while also ensuring they know right from wrong. She is completely focused on our kids during the day, while on walks, and at the park - we know she cares and does everything she can to provide the best experience for our girls each and every day they're together. In addition to her childcare skills, Norma has been dependable, punctual, and trustworthy. She communicated effectively with us, kept us informed about our daughters' daily activities and milestones, and consistently handled responsibilities with maturity and good judgment. Most importantly, our daughters adore her. The genuine bond she developed with them was evident in their excitement to see her each day and the comfort they felt in her care. Knowing our children were safe, happy, and loved gave us tremendous peace of mind. We wholeheartedly recommend Norma to any family seeking a caring, responsible, and dedicated nanny. She would be a valuable addition to any household and will feel like family. While we will really miss her presence in our home each week, we are confident she will provide the same outstanding level of care that she gave our family to another lucky family!

Hello! Nice to meet you :) I’m Sabrina and I’m a childcare provider and professional contemporary dancer based in Chicago, IL! I’ve been working with children since 2018 and after graduating from New York University with a BFA in Dance and a minor in Business and Media in 2024, I’ve worked as a nanny, dance educator and after school care provider around the Chicagoland area. I have experience with children ages 6 weeks through 16 years, but specialize in early childhood education with children 6 months through 9 years old. In Chicago, I’ve worked for BASH Kids Club, an after care provider specializing in the arts, in addition to nannying and babysitting various children around the city. I've been a full time chaperone for The Joffrey Ballet's summer dance programs during the 2022 and 2023 summer sessions where over a three month period, I lived in a dormitory setting with students ranging from 9-22, helping them navigate the program and facilitate various activities and crafts. In New York, I acted as a nanny and personal assistant for a family in Brooklyn regularly on weekday mornings. I would get her children ready for the day, take them to school and then assist with daily household tasks such as laundry and dishes, errands, organization tasks and various small projects that needed to be completed. I also worked for a variety of families on an as-needed basis in the New York City area. I pride myself on being responsible, punctual and friendly and often complete various household tasks such as laundry, meal preparation and dishes. I'm all about making your life as a parent easier! I'd love to get to know you and your family and look forward to working with you soon. Best, Sabrina

Sabrina was punctual, communicative, and upbeat. She was able to quickly take charge of a child who was very upset about the transition and over the few hours they played quickly formed a bond. She quickly got down to my child's level, was attentive, cleaned up - and better than that my two year old wanted her to come back!

Hello Parents, how are you all? I hope all is well, as of now I'm only available on Saturdays and Sundays only ( open availability is up for discussion). I do not accept last minute bookings, and we must have a phone interview followed by a in-person interview before requesting care from me. I ask all parents to give me at least a 48-72 hour notice before booking service. I share 13 beautiful years caring for children from Newborn-School age and I love working alongside parents helping to enhance their children cognitive, social, and emotional development. Reaching milestones using hands-on recreational and educational activities and building strong relationships to ensure a safe, fun, and comfortable work environment. A typical day for me once you reach out we will have a phone or video interview discussing important information regarding your child. I will also share with you some amazing experiences I have caring for children. After our phone discussion, I will then send over at least 2-3 professional references. If you decide I'm a good fit or will like to do a work trial, we will then set up a time and place to meet. Rather its at your home, where you will be showing me around giving me details such as your childs daily routine, showing me where bathrooms are, what area the children plays in the home the most, diaper changing areas, what to do and not to do in your home, any restrictioned areas, ect. If you prefer to have a in-person interview over phone or local places such as a Starbucks or dunkin donuts we can do that as well and no worries coffee and donuts on me! This is to ensure both parents and I are on the same page and children are comfortable and familiar with me. Once everything is set and stone you will then let me know the times you will need care. I will then confirm your request and keep you updated on my arrival time. I always arrive at least 15-30 mins early for all bookings request. I will then engae with children throughout the day, keeping a daily activity log, and send cute pictures and videos throughout the day to show how much fun your child or children are having. Understand I take my job very seriously so your children are in the best hands when under my care, so if you interested please reach out to me at (872)-288-2261. Thank you! Looking forward to meeting you and your family!

Khaliah helped us last minute when we really needed it. She was extremely sweet with our little boy, and very thoughtful and considerate while in our home. While our kiddo is in daycare and we don’t need regular support, I’m excited for the opportunity to have Khaliah watch our kiddo again!!

Hey there parents! I am only available as a part time/date night sitter at this time. I will update this if that changes. I can help with homework, sing songs, play games, cook them dinner, clean up, whatever you need. I am excellent with animals as well: dogs, cats, pigs, birds, you name it! At this time I sit for kids ages 6 months to 17. I have my flu shot, am fully vaccinated and have my own transportation. Thanks so much for your interest and I look forward to hearing from you!

Migle is a professional babysitter. You can tell she has a large amount of experience babysitting and enjoys what she does. She is easy to communicate with and always arrives on time. My children have easily adjusted to her. When she arrived the first time and I was explaining procedures, she asked questions I hadn't even thought of. That made be feel assured I had picked the right babysitter for my children. They are always eager for her to babysit.
