Hello dear parents, I am looking for an occasional, one time or weekend nights babysitting job. I have over 10 years of experience with children in ages ranging from newborn/infants to preteens. I consider myself a loving, honest, energetic, respectable, reliable, and organized person. I'm non-smoker and pet-friendly.  

I have worked as a babysitter since I was in high school and during my holiday breaks from medical school when I’m back in town. I have multiple years of experience and babysat kids all different ages. As well, in the past I was a swim instructor for kids. I enjoy working with kids, I am patient and manage to have good contact with them. Right now I'm studying medical school in Europe, I’m on my 4th year out of 6 years. Through this I know CPR and first aid as well.

I am a mom of two adult boys. I have prior experience working with children ages newborn to 5 in a not-for-profit setting. I have also provided after school care to school age children. I am attentive, kind, energetic, and encourage learning. I am currently looking to help a family with part time or occasional nanny/sitting services. Apart from having CPR/ BLS certifications, I have bilingual (English and Spanish) classroom experience as a teaching assistant with children in 1st and 2nd grade. I was also a swim instructor for children ages 3-10 and have experience teaching and working with kids that have special needs and learning disabilities.

I am a full-time nanny living in Chicago and I also provide babysitting services on occasion.  I have been helping with childcare for my family since I was 12 years old, as the eldest of five children, three of whom are active boys. I have well over 25 years of professional Nanny/House Managing/Personal Assistant experience, in addition a to Pre-School teaching and Pre-School swim instruction background. I also have In-Home Day Care experience at my Westchester residence. I have a Child Development/Psychology background. I have an extensive medical background/CPR trained and can handle children with special needs. Kids respond to me because I am patient, outgoing, fun-loving and try to relate to them at their level. I also try to make every day a fun learning experience. I am not afraid to get my hands dirty. In the summer you can find me on the ground catching insects, teaching the children how to fish, or catching bullfrogs/ turtles to study (catch and release). I am a big nature-lover. I am an avid fisher-woman, excellent swimmer and horseback-rider. My hobby is training/entering my German Shepherd Dogs in Obedience/Conformation Competition). My previous 14 year old female Lexxi, was a UKC Champion, who held 5 titles and 44 awards. She also did therapy work. I’ve also owned cats, ferrets, guinea pigs, rabbits, and a cockatiel named SpongeBob! Although I am no "spring chicken" so to speak, don’t let my age deter you. I am high energy and fit, working 50-60 hours a week caring for children. On the weekends, when I’m not working, you’ll find me running around the dog show ring, or practicing agility. My current 7 month old Kasha, is working on her AKC obedience titles. She has some big paws to fill! I have a Law Enforcement/Animal Control Officer, a Medical/ Medical Computer Systems background and have also worked in the Corporate world. All of those jobs I really enjoyed. But I’m completely happy and comfortable in a private/domestic setting taking care of children and managing a household. I excel at ensuring that the household is running smoothly, and I like putting my excellent organizational skills to work. It is a very gratifying experience for me. To be successful, there needs to be teamwork and open communication. I’m a firm believer in consistency and structure...  I’m professional, comical, considerate of others, a bit of a neat freak and a little bit of a workaholic; and 100% dependable!
