In high school, I completed a two-hour childcare course. After high school I also completed many certificate courses working at the YWCA, and since then, I've gained hands-on experience with a variety of responsibilities including meal preparation, transportation, outdoor play, light housekeeping, diaper changes & homeschooling. I also have experience working with children who require additional support, including a child with cerebral palsy. Caring for children has been a meaningful part of my life for years! In high school I worked in a gym daycare (2016-2020) as well as took a childcare course and worked in the schools daycare (2018-2019), we would “work” in the daycare 4 days a week rotating from the infant room, toddlers, and preschool. On the 5th day we would plan our lessons for circle time/educational activities for the kids! In 2020-2021 I was a nanny for a family who had a toddler and two preteens! After school started back up in 2021 I went to a daycare and worked in the pre-k room, occasionally being a float to the twos and the infants! I have experience with all ages of children!

Now that I have a daughter of my own, my husband and I have relocated to raise her where we grew up. Since she was born, I have taken her to my nanny jobs with me.
