My skills include communication, patience, organization, and the ability to stay calm and responsible in any situation. I am both CPI and CPR trained and have experience using positive behavior support strategies, de-escalation techniques, and maintaining safe, structured environments for children. I also have experience with lesson planning, supervision, and working closely with families and staff to support each child’s development. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, writing, going to the gym, and spending time with my family and animals, which helps me stay balanced and grounded.

I am the mom of 3 grown children and have worked in the school system for much of their school years. For the last several years I have enjoyed my experience in the special education classroom. Working with these children is so rewarding.

In college, I studied Child Development/Family Studies and also worked at a child study center after I completed a practicum there for a college class.
