Hello! I am a mom of three kids. They are 21, 16 and 7. I homeschool my youngest which allows flexibility in our schedule. I bring my daughter with me. I will not be homeschooling her while caring for your children though. Starting August 17, I am available Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm. I am available on some Saturdays as well. We live in Winfield/Lakes of the Four Seasons. I don't mind traveling a bit further depending on hours and pay. I can babysit in my home or yours if that’s what you prefer. I always bring our own food and drinks with us and anything else that we need. We spend a lot of time reading, dancing, singing, drawing, painting, cooking, baking, homework, walks, parks, spending time playing outdoors when it’s nice. Always loved children since I was a child. Starting teaching preschool at my church at age 18. I have done so many types of volunteer work (with my children being involved as well), but the most rewarding has always been with helping children. They are our future and I believe parenting is not only the most important job we can have, but also the best and definitely the most rewarding. I studied Elementary Education in college years ago, but have always had the natural instinct to teach, especially while playing. When my son went to school, he started having accidents and had been potty trained from 2 years old. I decided to become a teacher because I couldn’t understand what was happening to my son and felt a need for accountable, compassionate and patient educators. I hold a teaching certificate in the state of Illinois and have watched children since I was nine. I have potty trained boys and girls alike and been quite successful but sometimes they just aren’t ready so waiting is necessary. And yes girls are easier than boys to potty train. There has been some limited special needs care and substitute teaching in classrooms with children with special needs. I learn quick and feel my most important job is to keep any child clean, safe, happy and engaged in learning. I think children thrive on routine so would follow anything established and believe the parents way is the only way. I try very hard to only give advice when requested.
