Hi there! My name is Kaitlynn and I’m so eager to meet some new families and hopefully form some amazing bonds with you and your kiddos. I relocated to Indy in 2022 after nannying for a wonderful family for three years in Chicago. I spent a few months nannying for various families in the Indy area, and eventually landed at an Early Learning Center where I’ve been ever since. There I was placed as the School-Age teacher and Office Manager. This role required taking on all billing and most administrative duties while also hopping into each classroom frequently to either take over for teachers, advise them on lesson planning and classroom management, or to simply step in and give the kids all the love and care I possibly could. I studied Early Childhood Education at Indiana University Bloomington for several years before landing a wonderful preschool teaching position which led me to continue my studies virtually. I base what I do on the Creative Curriculum and strive to foster all domains of development. Most importantly- lots of love and lots of fun. I practice Conscious Discipline which in recent years has essentially become “gentle parenting”.
