For the past three years I thoroughly enjoyed working as a nanny for two different families - one with three children and the other with seven. For a period of 15 years, I worked as an as-needed evening babysitter for 15 families. I have assisted in church infant and toddler nurseries for 25 years. I have taught Sunday School for over 10 years to children ages 2-10. I have taught Spanish to children ages 4 through adult for 5 years. I have worked with both children and adults with developmental delays (including behavioral issues and learning disabilities) for 20 years. I have worked as a primary and elementary school dual language teacher, a reading interventionist and private tutor with children who have learning struggles. I enjoy getting to know children to discover their likes/dislikes and tailor games and activities accordingly. We can play outside, do arts and crafts, sing, make up stories - the possibilities are endless! English is my first language, but I speak Spanish fluently. Hello! I am a mom of three kids. They are 20, 15 and 6. I homeschool my youngest which allows flexibility in our schedule. I bring my daughter with me. I will not be homeschooling her while caring for your children though. Starting in August I will be available Mondays , Tuesdays and Fridays from 7:30am-8:30pm. Wednesdays and Thursdays I’m available from 4:30pm-8:30pm.We live in Winfield/Lakes of the Four Seasons. I don't mind traveling a bit further depending on hours and pay. I can babysit in my home or yours if that’s what you prefer. I always bring our own food and drinks with us and anything else that we need. We spend a lot of time reading, dancing, singing, drawing, painting, cooking, baking, homework, walks, parks, spending time playing outdoors when it’s nice. I’m very comfortable with caring for any age. I am also comfortable with pets. I’m ok with driving the kids for drop off and pick up to school or activities depending on distance. I have my degree in early childhood education. Before becoming a mom I taught preschool and worked in daycare. I also worked in before and after school childcare at an elementary school and summer camps. I have volunteered for years in my own kids' school as well as briefly working there teaching reading.
