I have babysat off and on since I was 11, but I began consistent caring for children in my school systems afterschool care program my sophomore year of high school, then there fulltime childcare program during the summers. My 2nd summer there I was the lead teacher for 2nd graders. Then I began working at a local church afterschool and summer childcare program after I graduated high school. I worked with ages 2 years old to 4th grade. I enjoy getting to see children grow, and how their personalities play out together in a classroom. Hi! I am Shyanne Gardner and am attending Grace college. I have been babysitting for 4 years now for different families. The one that I have stuck the longest with has been the entire 4 years. They have a special needs little girl and a son. I met them when their girl was 1 and their son was 3. I have stayed with their children overnight before as well. I have babysat for many children in my church and family as well. I usually am at a home for about 8-10 hours, but I am open to anything, even overnights if needed. I have previously been CPR certified, and given minimal first aid training. I am 20 years old and have worked with multiple special needs children for years as well. I am prepared to fix meals, bathe your children, and put them to bed/ get them ready for the day. I make sure to play with the children I am watching as well, and I try really hard to make sure that I am not on my phone while there, but will always have it on in case!
