I have a Bachelor's degree in English and Writing from Indiana Wesleyan University and work part time as a freelance editor. In the meantime, I am pursuing my other passion--working with kids. I'm CPR and First Aid certified for infants, children, and adults. I have experience with special needs babies (e.g., feeding tubes, preemies, etc.). Hi! I am Shyanne Gardner and am attending Grace college. I have been babysitting for 4 years now for different families. The one that I have stuck the longest with has been the entire 4 years. They have a special needs little girl and a son. I met them when their girl was 1 and their son was 3. I have stayed with their children overnight before as well. I have babysat for many children in my church and family as well. I usually am at a home for about 8-10 hours, but I am open to anything, even overnights if needed. I have previously been CPR certified, and given minimal first aid training. I am 20 years old and have worked with multiple special needs children for years as well. I am prepared to fix meals, bathe your children, and put them to bed/ get them ready for the day. I make sure to play with the children I am watching as well, and I try really hard to make sure that I am not on my phone while there, but will always have it on in case!
