Hi, I’m Sianna, a 23 yr old student at KSU looking for babysitting/nannying jobs. I have years of experience caring for my five younger siblings, and babysitting for family friends. I’m located in Manhattan and have my own transportation.

I have a passion for childcare, and aim to give children a calm and secure environment to grow and develop. My experiences in free and paid childcare have given me confidence in my capability to support parents in their mission to nurture their children. I also have experience with special needs children that has given me the patience and understanding to be able to support children of many different backgrounds through different stages of development. I enjoy bringing toys and activities of my own with me for the children to play with, it helps me understand what each child is naturally interested in. I currently work part time for the public library system and absolutely adore being able to share my love for literature with children. I encourage child-lead imaginative play and unstructured play, as well as developmentally appropriate learning activities. I enjoy doing crafts, and have taught classes and lead workshops where I instruct people (including young children) on how to do a variety of crafts. I think curious children are amazing. I truly love being able to help children understand new ideas and concepts! One of my favorite things to do with kids is talk about how different things work, how do plants grow, where animals go during winter etc. In my spare time I play guitar and have a love for all things music! I love exploring the outdoors, and think that fresh air is something most of us don't get enough of! I put a lot of emphasis on intentionally and understanding in my childcare. I love being able to support kids in learning how to manage and safely express their big feelings. I view every challenging moment as a learning opportunity and a chance for the children to gain a new skill. I love being able to partner with parents and work together with children.
