I am capable of putting kids to bed, helping with chores around the house, groceries – anything you need me to do! Currently, my availability is M-W before 5, Friday before 1, and Saturday and Sundays after 5! If communicated at least two weeks in advance, I can take time off to come spend time with your kids! My rates are $15-20 dollars for the first three children, after that I do charge an extra five dollars for any additional children! (Sittercity wouldn’t let me put a number below minimum wage!!) Hi there! I'm Anna :) I’m a 2025 graduate from North High with over a year of hands-on childcare experience — both volunteer and paid. I started through the FRC (Future Ready Center) program in a YMCA daycare inside my school. I rotated every other week through three rooms: infant, toddler, and preschool — giving me experience with kids from just a few weeks old up to Pre-K. In the infant room, I learned how to handle feedings, burping, diaper changes, and soothing techniques for babies with special needs, like those who were lactose intolerant or prone to spitting up. I knew how to position them so they could drink without discomfort, how to burp them properly, and how to calm them when they stiffened or cried. In the toddler room (ages 1–3), I helped the lead teacher and also made my own lesson plans through FRC assignments. I focused on toddler and preschool activities that were hands-on, simple, and helped build fine motor skills. Most of our learning was card-based — helping toddlers recognize objects, say new words, and grow their vocabulary. Think Ms. Rachel-style learning — because, honestly, her songs were our daily soundtrack! Wiggle time with songs like “The Bubble Gum Song” always brought big smiles. In the preschool room (ages 3–5), I supported early learning through crafts like handprint frogs and seasonal projects like pumpkins or Valentine hearts. I became especially good at adapting to each group. I created a sticker reward system that really worked — once one child earned one, others followed their lead with better behavior. During holidays, I’d quietly place suckers or small treats in each child’s cubby, rewarding kindness and cooperation in a fun, low-pressure way. It became a special tradition the kids looked forward to. Outside the daycare, I’ve also worked as a paid babysitter for family and friends, with kids of all ages — even in homes with big dogs (I have three myself!). I also have experience driving kids safely in my reliable car for errands, pickups, and drop-offs.
