I am a Christian, farm girl at heart and LOVE my Job!! I would describe myself as a young grandma type with 4 grown children. That being said, caretaking comes very naturally to me. I was with my last family a little over a year. They have one son who was born 3 month premature and a dog, so I do have some preemie experience. I also do some laundry and keep things picked up. They relocated due to their jobs. My previous family included 3 children ages 15, 11 and 7 months and 2 large dogs. The 11 year old is a Type 1 diabetic. My duties there included laundry, keeping things tidy, weekly grocery shopping, some meal prep, errands and diabetes management. I was with this family for 2 + years and left because I moved to Louisville to be closer to one of my daughters. She decided to settle here after attending SBTS. I also have professional small and large animal experience. I homeschooled 2 of my children, worked in my church nursery and led a 2 year old class. I did CPR training with my preemie twin grand babies and their parents, have a current TB test and 2 background checks, a good clean driving record and have very reliable transportation. My references are outstanding from both families. Most importantly, I am looking for a family to fit well with that I can love and serve well.
