I have extensive babysitting experience, to include raising two teenage twins. I absolutely love children and how their innocence and communication can brighten even the darkest of days! I have excellent references with families from past and present experiences, and I welcome any and all questions to ensure the comfortability of, for the lack of wording, “holding your entire world in my hands”!

Hi. I'm a social worker and I am available over the upcoming Thanksgiving vacation. I thoroughly enjoy being with kids, infants included, and they seem to enjoy being with me as well I have experience through the full range from infants to teens, special needs as well. I'm reliable, responsible, with lots of common sense.I have a reliable car and am a good driver. School: studied with Piaget, child development, infant language acquisition. Love playing board games, reading to kids, helping with homework... scooting around with littler ones and making up games. I'm a tennis player, swimmer, used to shooting baskets, riding bikes, practicing soccer, batting as well...pretend, dress-up, crafts and shuttling kids "around town". I have a good sense of humor and fun and am easy with kids pushing the limits with babysitters...to a certain extent (e.g. bedtimes, # books, TV/computer.) Each family is unique too and I think it's important to understand what Is and isn't important for your family. I have experience with overnights as well. I am comfortable with pets and a non-smoker. Check out my site and you'll see 15 Reviews. P.S. I am available over the upcoming Thanksgiving and "Christmas" vacations as the summer.

Hi! My name is Lauren and I hail from a background in school safety and emergency preparedness. 🎒Let me tell you why I would be a great match for your kid/s. I have a wide array of interests from design and art, any outdoor recreation, cooking, history, fiction fanatic, and technology. My sense of humor makes kids comfortable, and my wild imagination keeps them entertained. 🪁I connect intuitively with children, and aim to strike a balance between physical and mental activity, while identifying cues for downtime. I am immensely goofy, creative, an avid reader, TV-averse, a champion of silly stories, and can make yummy balanced meals! 👩🚒 Most recently, I am a seasonal wildland firefighter for the federal government. This summer I am taking a break after several intense years, and recalibrating while staying at my parents house in Needham. 🚙 I have a clean, well-maintained 2010 Honda Odyssey with a clean driving record, and I am a confident city driver, even with a car full of energetic kids! I have passed several driving exams and driving courses for work. Additional relevant background: 🦺 ⛑️Pre-Firefighting I was a crisis response specialist for schools of all sizes, guiding them through any type of emergency or disaster alongside first responders. I have been a CPR/First Aid/Search and Rescue instructor for educators, and I regularly receive training and volunteer for Red Cross and FEMA. As a post-grad I worked as an EMT in the Middle East. 👨👩👦👦Pre-Covid, I spent several years nannying long-term between two families, one of which has a child with severe mental and physical disabilities, and this is where I learned to care for a child, rather than just babysit. I have also been babysitting or a camp counselor since age 12. Looking forward to meeting a great family!

Hello there, I am an experienced and educated childcare provider who has over 14 years of hands-on experience and a genuine love of children and their development. I have worked with children from birth through 17 years of age in various roles, but primarily in-home - providing support to the family unit and focusing on developmental support. I am college educated in Early Education, with a minor in special education that allows me the knowledge and experience to provide added support in the reaching of milestones and/or special challenges if they arise or become an area of concern. I have experience working with Early Intervention and can assist with Speech or Occupational concerns as well as ABA and sensory seeking behavioral supports with or without guidance. I hold current CPR and First Aid certifications, as well as various allergy training certifications and a complex pediatric Diabetes training completion through the Joslin center in Boston. A clean background check, clear driving record and reputable references are available upon request. With my childcare services you can expect my willingness to commit to household management as well as pet care and to provide the absolute best and thorough attention to your bundles of joy as if they were my own. If you are looking to add a member to your childcare village, please reach out and we can set up a time to connect. Looking forward to hearing from you! Best, Britni

Here is a little bit about me. *Self-description* I am spunky, fun and dependable. I enjoy doing crafts and playing games. I also take joy in playgrounds, riding bikes, swimming, the library, and other fun things! I feel I would be a great companion for your child. *Additional information* I began an interest in caring for children when I was 13. I would babysit for families in the neighborhood. As I entered high school they had a day care in one of the wings. I began working there for credit. From that point on I have always had a job working with children *Challenges of position* I have been with one of my families for 10 years, and I find that as they get older the respect level and listening skills decrease a little bit. It makes it difficult for me implement the rules of the house, so I have to be creative in my methods. *Rewards of position* It is a good feeling knowing that I am an important part in a child's life. Being able to watch them grow and help them with life decisions means a great deal to me.

My primary goal as a babysitter is to provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for the children under my care. Working with children has always been one of my passions, and I've gained valuable experience in a variety of roles over the last nearly 6 years. I am very proud of my ability to build a personal connection with the children I watch over, and I am dedicated to ensuring their happiness and well-being. I am a very lovely, playful, creative, and kid-hearted person who enjoys messing around and being goofy, reading a lot of books, and making things out of whatever toys are available. I hope I can be your ideal choice for a babysitter!:)

I really enjoy kids! They are naturally authentic and interested in the world. I studied Math and Education in college, and got teaching experience in classrooms ranging from kindergarten to high school. I got certified to teach secondary math, and went on to do a year of Americorps service after college. I moved to Boston in 2007 and began babysitting until I figured out what was next. I enjoyed what I was doing so much that I went on to become a full time nanny the following year. I worked for three years for a family with three children- ages 2, 5, and 7 when I started. After the youngest was off to kindergarten, I took a new position, a nanny share caring for two 2-year old girls. I’ve also babysat for multiple families over the years ranging from overnights with infant twins to school vacation help for 12-year olds. I taught the preschool class at my church for 5 years as well. In October 2012, I had a daughter of my own! I began bringing her along to babysitting/ nanny positions, which worked out quite well. In 2019, after working as a nanny/ babysitter for 12 years, I transitioned to teaching. I worked as an assistant in a combined Pre-K/Kindergarten class for four years before becoming the lead teacher of a separate Pre-K class. I had another daughter in January 2024 and am currently exploring the possibility of a babysitting position where I can bring my 1-year old daughter along.

Hello! My name is Ashley Davila. I am 26 years old. I am understanding, energetic, trustworthy and a reliable person. I absolutely love children. I started out baby sitting when I was around 16 years old. I started by watching my brother and sister who are now 9 and 12 and also helping around my neighborhood. Throughout my highschool, I worked every summer in summer camps as a counselor for kids ages 4 to 14, I also have experience working in a day care as an assistant teacher. I love being able to work with kids because they always bring so much joy and laughter. I speak English and Spanish fluently and also I am learning to speak Chinese and French. Over the last few years, I worked primarily with children ages 3-14 but i have experience with kids of all ages! I am great with helping the children with homework, arts & crafts, housework, playing with kids, indoor and outdoor games and encouraging to read. I love soccer, football and basketball.
