I have been babysitting, nannying, and pet-sitting for about 12 years now. I have experience caring for children ages 1 month - 15 years, with and without learning and behavioral disabilities such as speech delays, autism, and anxiety. Throughout middle school and high school, I would babysit a few days a week including weekends and regularly over the summer. While attending college, I babysat each month I returned home for breaks as well as regularly over the summer. After graduating from college I was working as a full-time teacher/residential aide at the New England Center for Children with adolescent boys who have severe Autism. In 2022, I moved to Charleston, SC and taught 4th-6th grade at a Montessori school. I currently live in Waltham, MA and I am in grad school to be a School Psychologist! I personally like to be as active as possible when babysitting, to not only keep the kids busy but to also maximize my time with them. I like to be outside and do outdoor activities the most, but when inside I like to play games or do arts and crafts. Art is a personal outlet for me so I like to spread my love for it to children as I know they typically enjoy it as well. I can babysit up to three kids but I believe I can work best when babysitting 1-2.

Hello, My name is Kaitlynn,I am a 31 years old and have 10 combined years of both nannying and babysitting off and on. I have a background in the medical field as well, I am a licensed nursing assistant. In the past I have worked in nursing homes as well as working in personal homes. Having my nursing assistant certification includes Heimlich certification as well as CPR. My certification also includes infant CPR. Let me tell you a little about my nannying experience, I have worked with children whose ages vary from newborn to 8 years old. I’m Emily and I live in Southborough/Marlborough line, I have been an Infant/Toddler teacher at Bright Horizons and Nanny, on and off for the last 20 years. I love children. After becoming a caregiver to my mom who had AML & transplant, I was inspired to go back to school to purse my nursing degree. I graduated with my BSN RN in 2019 ( my previous undergrad is in psychology) . Through my clinicals and preceptorship I have worked in a multitude of areas along with working as a labor & delivery nurse. Pediatrics & geriatrics are my favorite populations. I had to take a break from inpatient nursing to help care for family and started some private duty nursing along with child care. I just began taking on care again in addition to some private duty nursing I do. I am a BLS provider ( Basic Life Support, a step up from CPR for medical providers). I currently take care of a 19 month old & a 7 year old, the prior family I worked for was with a set of twin boys. I started with them when they were 8weeks old, until 16 months old. I had to resign in 2018, when nursing school became extremely intense, requiring my full attention. Prior to nursing, my previous experience I was an Infant & toddler teacher at Bright Horizons for 6years, taking care of infants ages 6 weeks -15 months old. Bright horizons was a great center for infants. I was in charge of classroom of 7 infants that included creating a weekly curriculum for our babies while in our care, parent meetings every 3 months to review their portfolios, milestones, and new activities and exercises to incorporate day to day if needed. I love working with children of all ages, especially infants.There is nothing like a baby to bring you back to everything that is so precious in life.
