Hi! I'm Kylie Marshall, I am a senior at UMASS Boston. I am 22 and live in Sudbury, MA. My college courses are all virtual, which gives me a lot of flexibility for work! | Experience | - 9 years of babysitting/nannying (2 months - 12 yrs) - 3 summers of camp counseling (4 yrs - 15 yrs) - 7 years of lifeguarding (all ages) - 7 years of swim instructing (3 months - 15 yrs) - 5 years as a team swimming coach (6 yrs -16 yrs). - Most recently, My most recent employment has been working with a 2 month old, 1.5 year old, and a 4 year old. | Certification | - First Aid - AED - CPR - Lifeguarding - Water Safety Instruction - EMT License in progress | Approach to Childcare | My greatest strength in this line of work is being able to make anything fun. I have a ton of energy, especially for things like going outside, running around, and playing imaginative games. I also like to make space for creativity and expression with art, crafts, and music. Nourishing a child's free spirit is especially important to me. I like to support and teach where I can while also making sure to leave room for independence and exploration. Helping kids establish their autonomy and learn to set boundaries is important to me. I encourage a gentle and kind attitude toward the self and others. My goal is always to find a way to make every day memorable, and to connect with the kids I work with in a way that fosters genuine trust and love. It is an honor to get to be one of their grown ups and to watch them grow into who they are! I am excited to find a family that I can work with long-term and form genuine connections with!

Kaitlynn R., Nanny in Boxborough, MA 01719 with 10 years of paid experience

Hello, My name is Kaitlynn,I am a 31 years old and have 10 combined years of both nannying and babysitting off and on. I have a background in the medical field as well, I am a licensed nursing assistant. In the past I have worked in nursing homes as well as working in personal homes. Having my nursing assistant certification includes Heimlich certification as well as CPR. My certification also includes infant CPR. Let me tell you a little about my nannying experience, I have worked with children whose ages vary from newborn to 8 years old. I have always enjoying taking care of children and find a lot of pride in my ability to do so. One of the most recent positions was 6 months long, and consisted of taking care of the children’s every day needs, as well as some light housekeeping and cooking. The children are age 2 and 7. Another recent position I held was for a family with two boys age 4 and 6. I assisted with every day basic needs as well as school and homework help. I am currently in a position with twin boys that are almost 3 years old. I have been with them for 2.5 years but they are ready to move on to preschool. In the past I have worked with infants as well as being a mother of a 5 year old myself. I am looking to start in a new position as soon as possible, and have the availability for a full time position. I would prefer a long term position at this time. Thank you, and I hope to hear from you soon All the best, Kaitlynn

Emily D., Nanny in Boxborough, MA 01719 with 18 years of paid experience

I’m Emily and I live in Southborough/Marlborough line, I have been an Infant/Toddler teacher at Bright Horizons and Nanny, on and off for the last 20 years. I love children. After becoming a caregiver to my mom who had AML & transplant, I was inspired to go back to school to purse my nursing degree. I graduated with my BSN RN in 2019 ( my previous undergrad is in psychology) . Through my clinicals and preceptorship I have worked in a multitude of areas along with working as a labor & delivery nurse. Pediatrics & geriatrics are my favorite populations. I had to take a break from inpatient nursing to help care for family and started some private duty nursing along with child care. I just began taking on care again in addition to some private duty nursing I do. I am a BLS provider ( Basic Life Support, a step up from CPR for medical providers). I currently take care of a 19 month old & a 7 year old, the prior family I worked for was with a set of twin boys. I started with them when they were 8weeks old, until 16 months old. I had to resign in 2018, when nursing school became extremely intense, requiring my full attention. Prior to nursing, my previous experience I was an Infant & toddler teacher at Bright Horizons for 6years, taking care of infants ages 6 weeks -15 months old. Bright horizons was a great center for infants. I was in charge of classroom of 7 infants that included creating a weekly curriculum for our babies while in our care, parent meetings every 3 months to review their portfolios, milestones, and new activities and exercises to incorporate day to day if needed. I love working with children of all ages, especially infants. There is nothing like a baby to bring you back to everything that is so precious in life. My friends' who have had babies have all named me the official 'Baby whisperer' as I have a way with babies in particular. I am very close with my Family & fur babies. I love spending time with them more than anything. I love being active outside as well. I look forward to connecting with you and your family.
