Are you looking for an occasional sitter? A summertime sitter? I’m a full time art teacher during the school year. I’m seeking occasional sitting positions and summer time sitting positions. Perhaps you need a date night or just need an occasional night out. I have CPR, first aid and epi pen training. I have raised my son and also two step daughters who are now adults. I had been a lifeguard when I was 16, of course all that training is expired, but I feel that those life experiences stay with you. I look forward to hearing from you. I am vaccinated for Covid-19

We met Sandie at the beginning of the pandemic through Dumpling, which is a personal shopping app. She was our food shopping angel during Covid and 2 years later not only does she still shop for us, but we have her occasionally babysit our 4 year old who loves Sandie! Flexible, thorough, and just all around a nice person.

Hey there! My name is Leonita. I'm the eldest of four & also the eldest cousin on both maternal and paternal sides of the family; so as you can imagine, l've been providing child care since I turned double digits. I am a doting wife and proud mom of three beautiful & amazing human beings. I know I am biased, but they rock! Of course my children have given me the most experience in childcare, early education, child development and nurturing. They have also brought sports, cheerleading, dancing, acting, singing, and a plethora of other activities into my life and experience wheel-house. Other than caring for my own children and babysitting for family and friends I have done volunteer work for the Life is Good Kids Foundation (formerly Project Joy) festivals and events on numerous occasions, worked with children during my time volunteering at the Elizabeth Stone House (a domestic violence shelter for women & children), have nannied for multiple families, and have also worked in the Early Childhood Education field (at a preschool in Roxbury), in all classroom levels (from infancy (6 weeks) to school age (6y.o)). I have worked with children (and families) in many capacities for over two decades, so I have a lot of experience with a wide range of ages, siblings, and various needs. I love arts & crafts, dancing, the theatrical arts, and not to brag but I am pretty great karaoke performer...Disney songs are always a hit, but I look like silly singing The Little Mermaid songs alone...so, cue the duet with your child(ren)! I love reading, trying new recipes and DIY’s I saw on HGTV (and admittedly sometimes failing lol). I'm a firm believer that the best way for children to learn is through play. So I always try my best to "kill two birds with one stone" - have fun AND learn something, all in one activity. References available upon request. Contact me with any questions! I look forward to getting a chance to connect and meet your wonderful families!

After four years with our family, it is hard to put into words just how much our Leonita has meant to our family. From the very beginning, she stepped into our home with warmth, patience, and love that immediately made her feel like part of the family. When we started with Leonita, we only had two kids, and we had our third after a couple of years. Over the years, she has supported our 3 children and our family through the ups and downs of life. She has been there for the everyday routines, the milestones, the tough days, and the joyful ones. Our children love her, trust her deeply, and truly see her as a second mom. What makes her so special is the genuine love she brings to her work. She has so much experience working with children of all ages, and has prepared our kids for school. She cares for our kids not just as a job, but because she genuinely loves our kids and what she does. Having Leonita in our lives has been an incredible gift. Any family would be lucky to have someone so trustworthy, loving, and dedicated caring for their children. We will forever be grateful for the role she has played in our family!

Sara has been such an amazing addition to our family over the last year. She has cared for our infant daughter who adores her. She helped us navigate our daughters changing needs, teething, sleep schedules, and more. She is incredibly proactive and jumps in to help out whenever needed which has been such a huge help. She has also been so flexible with all of the changes throughout the pandemic which made navigating the unique work and school changes much easier! We are so sad to no longer have her with us but we know she will be able to provide amazing care for another family!

My husband and I hired Naiana to be a nanny for our 4month old right as I was returning to work after Maternity Leave. It was an anxious time for me, but I felt so reassured with Naiana! She is wonderful with babies and Sophia immediately felt comfortable with her. She has aided in Sophia’s development through play, singing, sleep training and movement. In the early days she was so good at getting Sophia down for a nap and feeding her bottles when she would only take bottles from my husband and I. She also would wash bottles and fold the baby’s laundry while Sophia was napping, which was such an amazing help to me. Now that Sophia is 9months old, I can see the love that Sophia has for Naiana, as every morning Sophia has the biggest smile as soon as Naiana walks in the door! I strongly recommend hiring Naiana and I feel so lucky to have her as a part of Sophia’s life!

Alli has been an absolute godsend to our family. When my husband and I moved to Concord at the tail end of the COVID pandemic, we were overwhelmed with the challenge of finding reliable childcare. I had just returned to work after maternity leave with our second child, and Alli was able to step in seamlessly from day one. It quickly became clear that Alli’s superpower is working with children. Our two-year-old son and three-month-old daughter connected with her immediately. She handled early challenges—like our daughter refusing bottles—with calm confidence and patience, all while navigating a full-time, work-from-home household. Remarkably, our daughter began taking bottles on Alli’s very first day. Over the past four years, Alli has truly become part of our family. She has supported our children through every stage of their development with thoughtfulness and care. From managing nap schedules (and sleep regressions) to guiding potty training, school pickups and drop-offs, and helping build early reading and math skills, Alli approaches every aspect of her role with intention. She consistently creates engaging, age-appropriate activities and makes it a priority to get the kids outside and active in all seasons. She is more than just a caretaker; she is a teacher and friend. What sets Alli apart most is her deep commitment to the children in her care. Our son has severe food allergies, and Alli has always been exceptionally diligent—carefully managing his meals and ensuring his EpiPen is always on hand. She is a fierce advocate for our children’s safety and well-being, and we have complete trust and peace of mind when they are with her. As our youngest begins school, we are sadly transitioning away from full-time care. We cannot recommend Alli highly enough—she brings warmth, reliability, and a rare level of dedication that will be deeply missed by our family.

Hi! I'm Kylie Marshall, I am a senior at UMASS Boston. I am 22 and live in Sudbury, MA. My college courses are all virtual, which gives me a lot of flexibility for work! | Experience | - 9 years of babysitting/nannying (2 months - 12 yrs) - 3 summers of camp counseling (4 yrs - 15 yrs) - 7 years of lifeguarding (all ages) - 7 years of swim instructing (3 months - 15 yrs) - 5 years as a team swimming coach (6 yrs -16 yrs). - Most recently, My most recent employment has been working with a 2 month old, 1.5 year old, and a 4 year old girls as their nanny! | Certification | - First Aid - AED - CPR - Lifeguarding - Water Safety Instruction - EMT License in progress | Approach to Childcare | My greatest strength in this line of work is being able to make anything fun. I have a ton of energy, especially for things like going outside, running around, and playing imaginative games. I also like to make space for creativity and expression with art, crafts, and music. Nourishing a child's free spirit is especially important to me. I like to support and teach where I can while also making sure to leave room for independence and exploration. Helping kids establish their autonomy and learn to set boundaries is important to me. I encourage a gentle and kind attitude toward the self and others. My goal is always to find a way to make every day memorable, and to connect with the kids I work with in a way that fosters genuine trust and love. It is an honor to get to be one of their grown ups and to watch them grow into who they are! I am excited to find a family that I can work with long-term and form genuine connections with!

Joan babysat for my 5 and 2 year old recently. I could tell that the safety and comfort of the kids is a priority for her. Joan is also very reliable; I got the impression that she is the type who always shows up on time and keeps her commitments. I've had a couple experiences in the past where a babysitter is happy to show up if it is rainy or cold outside but as soon as the weather is nice, they text you and say they have a family matter. I'm confident that you won't have to worry about this with Joan; she even showed up on a holiday weekend when it was sunny and in the 80's. If you are looking for someone more mature who will not be texting her friends, inviting people over, etc while she is watching the kids, then I would highly recommend getting in touch with Joan.

I have been a caregiver for over 10 years. I tried a few different jobs during my early twenties and found caregiving kind of by accident but have loved ever second of it. I love how everyday is different and exciting, and working with kids is so much fun. I mean who wouldn't want to go to work and laugh everyday. I try to keep things interesting for the kids I'm working with as well, by trying to get out of the house and do fun activities or even try to find fun games to play around the house. I have worked with a wide range of clients from brand new newborns to older children as well as a few jobs with the elderly. I am a hard worker who is always willing to go the extra mile for my clients, I believe that I'm there to help make the parents lives a little less stressful so I'm always willing to lend a hand with housework or errands, driving from place to place for pick ups/drop offs.
