Hi, I love caring for infants and toddlers. I also have experience working with preschool and school age children. I have worked in family daycare, daycare centers, Head Start and in private homes. I have an Infant Toddler Certificate, a Special Needs Certificate, an A.S. degree in Early Childhood Education a B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology and some graduate school course work in Social Work. I have been trained in CPR and first aid. I have years of experience working in Human Services and caring for adults also. I have experience working with both adults and children with special needs.I love animals, am a nonsmoker and have a clean driving record with a reliable car. I'm seeking a part-time position and can provide excellent references upon request. See my 5 star reviews. Although I clean up the kitchen after meals and toys after play, my focus is childcare and I do not provide housekeeping, laundry or errands. I am also equipped to provide childcare in my home and live in a safe, quiet neighborhood. I have toys, books, a comfortable play space, a quiet nap space, music, movies, etc. I can also provide snacks, diaper changes and potty training. See my 5 star reviews. Thank you. I hope to hear from you soon!

I hold a degree in Child Development and Early Childhood Education and have extensive experience working with children. From 2009 to 2019, I taught preschool-aged children, fostering their growth and development through engaging activities and personalized care. In 2019 and 2021, I worked as a Head Camp Counselor at a Girl Scout Camp, where I planned and led programs to create a fun and enriching environment. In 2022, I was promoted to Program Manager at the camp, further expanding my leadership and organizational skills. Additionally, I have hands-on experience as a nanny for two children, ages 2 and 4, and babysat for a family with a toddler from 2022 until the end of January. My responsibilities include preparing simple meals, assisting with potty training, and keeping the child engaged through indoor and outdoor activities. During the spring I babysat a one year old a few times. This summer I have been babysitting a six and ten year old. I also babysat 20 month year old twins a few times recently. Working with children has always been my passion, and I am currently seeking a babysitting position a few days during the week with preschool or elementary-aged children. My goal is to provide a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for the children in my care.

Stephanie has come over a few times to help me with my 13mo old daughter while I work from home. Stephanie is incredibly sweet and polite and plays so well with her. I was truly impressed with how well my daughter took to her as she hasn't had many sitters at all, they played so well together while I worked and I appreciate her help so much. I would consider Stephanie very reliable.

We had a great experience with Julia with our 10 month old daughter. We used Julia while we were visiting from out of town. We spoke on the phone and I spoke with a reference that had good experience as well. Julia was on time, very friendly and personable and a good communicator. I’d use Julia again if I were from the area.

Abigail helped my family between January and May of 2025. She was amazing with my kids and they naturally bonded with her. She helped tutor each child based on their needs in English and Math (1st grader, 3rd grader, and 5th grader), and was a wonderful influence on them and their behavior. She helped with errands when needed such as groceries, Dr appointments, and even did some light cleaning. She helped ensure my kids did their homework when they got home and their chores as needed. She provided sufficient communication on her availability, confirmed pickup logistics each week, and was very dependable and on time. She was a delight to work with, hope she will return to help the family out in the future, and you would be lucky to have her as a sitter.

Hi! My name is Emma, and I have had a passion for teaching and childcare for over seven years, with experience working with children of all ages. In May 2025, I graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a degree in Early Childhood Education and hold my Early Childhood Teaching License. Over the past year, I worked in a public school as a Lead Pre-K teacher, primarily teaching 3- and 4-year-olds. As a first-year teacher leading my own classroom, I learned so much about responsibility, routines, organization, and creating a structured yet engaging environment, while also building strong and positive relationships with families. My love for working with children comes from watching them grow, learn, and build confidence in themselves. The most rewarding part of this work is getting to see children progress and achieve their goals. Above all, I am committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where children feel encouraged, valued, and excited to learn. Throughout the years, I’ve gained experience through babysitting, working in after-school programs, substituting in schools, and hands-on classroom teaching. I also grew up teaching swim lessons and lifeguarding (which I still do during the summers), so safety is always a top priority for me. In addition, I teach dance at a local studio, which allows me to combine two of my greatest passions: teaching and dancing. Caring for and supporting children has always been a true passion of mine, and I value the opportunity to build meaningful connections with families while helping children learn, grow, and thrive. While my professional experience has largely been in the classroom, I am excited to explore all aspects of childcare through nannying and to work more closely with a family in a personalized setting. I look forward to bringing the knowledge and skills I have gained through my education degree into each child's daily life, creating enriching experiences tailored to their unique needs and interests. I’m excited to bring my patience, reliability, and positive energy into the world of nannying, and I can’t wait to see what this new chapter brings!
