I'm laid back, calm under pressure, and I genuinely love this work. In all my years of experience, I've been in real emergencies and I don't panic. I've been up at 3am with a screaming newborn and I don't spiral. I show up, I help, and I make sure you feel more confident when I leave than when I arrived. I’m a recently retired blocker for Cape Cod Roller Derby. I love archery but don’t get to it as often as I like. I have a pretty prolific container garden. I enjoy cooking, canning and preserving foods. And recently I’ve been getting increasingly into birding which I’m figuring out is apparently a rite of passage as we age? Hi there! A little about myself - I'm a student at UMass Amherst, though I've stepped away for a bit and am currently in paramedic school. I became an EMT this past summer and decided that I wanted to continue on to the next level of care. I plan to later return to UMass and finish my undergraduate schooling, majoring in psychology while also on the Pre-medical track. From there, I hope to attend medical school and become a physician.
