Helping children grow, thrive, and feel supported is my passion. While most of my professional experience is in Special Education, I’ve also worked closely with neurotypical children. I’m a 45 year old mother of one boy and one girl, who started her career as a babysitter and special needs caretaker assistant. I’ve served as a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters and spent countless hours volunteering on school campuses. I spent a decade working for state parks and took frequent and detailed safety trainings on numerous topics from poison control to burn care, fire safety, etc. On a personal note I enjoy many hobbies, animals and nature, love hiking and swimming, sports, and even play video games. I’m confident I can find a way to connect with any child. My Bachelors Degree is from Schreiner University in Kerrville, Texas, where I spent most of my adulthood.
