Hey there! My name is Leonita. I'm the eldest of four & also the eldest cousin on both maternal and paternal sides of the family; so as you can imagine, l've been providing child care since I turned double digits. I am a doting wife and proud mom of three beautiful & amazing human beings. I know I am biased, but they rock! Of course my children have given me the most experience in childcare, early education, child development and nurturing. They have also brought sports, cheerleading, dancing, acting, singing, and a plethora of other activities into my life and experience wheel-house. Other than caring for my own children and babysitting for family and friends I have done volunteer work for the Life is Good Kids Foundation (formerly Project Joy) festivals and events on numerous occasions, worked with children during my time volunteering at the Elizabeth Stone House (a domestic violence shelter for women & children), have nannied for multiple families, and have also worked in the Early Childhood Education field (at a preschool in Roxbury), in all classroom levels (from infancy (6 weeks) to school age (6y.o)). I have worked with children (and families) in many capacities for over two decades, so I have a lot of experience with a wide range of ages, siblings, and various needs. I love arts & crafts, dancing, the theatrical arts, and not to brag but I am pretty great karaoke performer...Disney songs are always a hit, but I look like silly singing The Little Mermaid songs alone...so, cue the duet with your child(ren)! I love reading, trying new recipes and DIY’s I saw on HGTV (and admittedly sometimes failing lol). I'm a firm believer that the best way for children to learn is through play. So I always try my best to "kill two birds with one stone" - have fun AND learn something, all in one activity. References available upon request. Contact me with any questions! I look forward to getting a chance to connect and meet your wonderful families!

After four years with our family, it is hard to put into words just how much our Leonita has meant to our family. From the very beginning, she stepped into our home with warmth, patience, and love that immediately made her feel like part of the family. When we started with Leonita, we only had two kids, and we had our third after a couple of years. Over the years, she has supported our 3 children and our family through the ups and downs of life. She has been there for the everyday routines, the milestones, the tough days, and the joyful ones. Our children love her, trust her deeply, and truly see her as a second mom. What makes her so special is the genuine love she brings to her work. She has so much experience working with children of all ages, and has prepared our kids for school. She cares for our kids not just as a job, but because she genuinely loves our kids and what she does. Having Leonita in our lives has been an incredible gift. Any family would be lucky to have someone so trustworthy, loving, and dedicated caring for their children. We will forever be grateful for the role she has played in our family!

My husband and I hired Naiana to be a nanny for our 4month old right as I was returning to work after Maternity Leave. It was an anxious time for me, but I felt so reassured with Naiana! She is wonderful with babies and Sophia immediately felt comfortable with her. She has aided in Sophia’s development through play, singing, sleep training and movement. In the early days she was so good at getting Sophia down for a nap and feeding her bottles when she would only take bottles from my husband and I. She also would wash bottles and fold the baby’s laundry while Sophia was napping, which was such an amazing help to me. Now that Sophia is 9months old, I can see the love that Sophia has for Naiana, as every morning Sophia has the biggest smile as soon as Naiana walks in the door! I strongly recommend hiring Naiana and I feel so lucky to have her as a part of Sophia’s life!

Play turns out to be so stunningly essential to childhood, it's like love, sunshine, and broccoli all juiced together. I also have a natural sense of humor, which is essential when working with children. I enjoy sharing resources and tips that I have learned along the way with parents I pledge to let children be little, fill their hearts with laughter, help them grow wings, nurture their sense of wonder, and inspire them to believe in themselves. I keep in touch with the many children and families who have crossed paths with me over my varied career, and we catch up now and then. I'm proud to have been part of their parenting and childhood journey.

Although I did not ultimately hire Nancy due to a conflict with schedules, I would have loved to! We corresponded by email and by phone and she was always prompt to reply and friendly. We did have a meeting to meet my children and I was instantly at ease with her as were my kids (ages 2 and 3 1/2). They responded very positively to her and I think that speaks volumes. I hope that our schedules could work out in the future!!

We hired Dolma as the nanny for our 2.5 year old twin daughters and she cared for them during the work days for a 4 month period. She was extremely punctual, consistently coming in about 10 mins earlier than the actual start time. It was very clear that she was full of love for the twins and genuinely cared for them. Her cooking/feeding strategy worked really well with both our daughters. She also kept to our set routine which helped a lot. Most importantly, the twins really bonded with her loved having her. I recommend Dolma to anyone looking for a nanny.

Alli has been an absolute godsend to our family. When my husband and I moved to Concord at the tail end of the COVID pandemic, we were overwhelmed with the challenge of finding reliable childcare. I had just returned to work after maternity leave with our second child, and Alli was able to step in seamlessly from day one. It quickly became clear that Alli’s superpower is working with children. Our two-year-old son and three-month-old daughter connected with her immediately. She handled early challenges—like our daughter refusing bottles—with calm confidence and patience, all while navigating a full-time, work-from-home household. Remarkably, our daughter began taking bottles on Alli’s very first day. Over the past four years, Alli has truly become part of our family. She has supported our children through every stage of their development with thoughtfulness and care. From managing nap schedules (and sleep regressions) to guiding potty training, school pickups and drop-offs, and helping build early reading and math skills, Alli approaches every aspect of her role with intention. She consistently creates engaging, age-appropriate activities and makes it a priority to get the kids outside and active in all seasons. She is more than just a caretaker; she is a teacher and friend. What sets Alli apart most is her deep commitment to the children in her care. Our son has severe food allergies, and Alli has always been exceptionally diligent—carefully managing his meals and ensuring his EpiPen is always on hand. She is a fierce advocate for our children’s safety and well-being, and we have complete trust and peace of mind when they are with her. As our youngest begins school, we are sadly transitioning away from full-time care. We cannot recommend Alli highly enough—she brings warmth, reliability, and a rare level of dedication that will be deeply missed by our family.
